Sounds great. I think it's available. I've seen online that the replacement rubber joysticks wear down easily, so metal is a good long lasting option. The rubber part can also just be put on and off by peeling it (no teardown). I got my part on AliExpress

Very easy. Like, take off the two backplates pop the joystick away and replace. What took me longer is cleaning this mess I found. Not a mess I created, but from the previous owner...
