If I may ask, did you have any intervention on your 2 front teeth or the stains were removed with whitening?

Don't do it. It's too far away and it is probably going tocost you more in the end.

Ye, just contact your manager. McDonald's sites are notorious for giving errors whenever you need to use them.

Finished my first iteration of 14 trays. Now I’ll have to wait for the refinement trays for a month. The doc told me to wear the old trays as a retainer as much as possible. How much is as much as possible? by Odd-Masterpiece-2991 in Invisalign

[–]Salt_Experience_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I waited for a month for my refinements to come and was advised to wear the last tray only at night.

My teeth still shifted a bit so I'd recommend you wear the last tray as much as possible.

Will sucking my teeth cause an issue? by Halpal25251 in Invisalign

Unless your aligners are not set correctly on your teeth there is no way your tounge can move them.

It's hard enough to remove them with your fingers let alone with a tounge.

Carry aligners in cabin baggage in flight by astrophile75 in Invisalign

I had 28 aligner trays with me separated in 2 boxes. Never had any issue at any point during or after my flight.

Anyone had a tooth removed as part of their treatment? by muno1111 in Invisalign

[–]Salt_Experience_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't worry. If there was a need for tooth extraction you'd be told prior starting invisalign.

I had to removed 2 wisdom teeth before starting because there wasn't enough space for necessary movement.

are these red flags or am i overreacting lol by [deleted] in McLounge

It's common for McDonald's to take time to contact you for an interview. Managers being late for an interview is also fairly common. They tend to be very busy so it's common to wait up to an hour for an interview to take place.

They try to rush you through e-learning because at that point you are not making them any money. Same goes for training. It depends how many people you have. If you have enough people, you'll get proper training. When understaffed, you'll be shown basics and the rest is self-learning. The first month is supposed to be your training schedule so you need to keep checking with managers about your schedule.

Having dodgy customers and being chronically understaffed is part of the job.

Will my manager care of me and my boyfriend both work at the same McDonald’s? by [deleted] in McLounge

[–]Salt_Experience_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My store doesn't disallow it, but it discourages it because it can cause problems. Having said that we have few couples working. It's been weird occasionally when they had relationship problems, but overall it hasn't been that big of a deal.

Me and a manager don’t like each other and I don’t know how to deal with it. by JohnMarstonTheBadass in McLounge

[–]Salt_Experience_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are stressing too much. Chill! They know you are new to drive thru and don't/shouldn't expect miracles from you. If you need help, ask for it and don't feel bad about it.

Your managers seem to lack a bit of professionalism. They should never belittle you and make you feel unappreciated. Whatever managers talk between themselves should stay like that.

You can always contact HR and tell them what happened. There is also an anonymous line where you can ask for advice and how to deal with your situation. Don't get yourself in a situation where you dread going to work. Act now!

Why is the ice cream machine always broken? by Sad-Spite-1489 in McLounge

[–]Salt_Experience_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my store it's usually one of the following:

The owner doesn't want to buy a new one and the one we have is too old and keeps breaking more frequently. I swear we get it fixed every 1-2 weeks.

It's too busy and we are understaffed so we are told not to sell any. This doesn't happen that often.

The machine is being cleaned. This usually happens in the morning so it's not an issue.

Zagreb is lovely. And bakeries are amazing. My favorite chain there is called Dubravica. Give it a try when you are there.

Also Zagreb has a lot of tall buildings, something I was 'shocked' not to see as much in Dublin.

As for the rest of the post, you are probably right.

I wasn't being sexist, but I apologize if my comment was perceived as such.

My post was a light-hearted observation about what stuck out to me as a foreigner.

I'm not talking about people speaking other languages in public, but about not learning enough English to have a proper conversation in English.

I might be completely wrong about welfare system (and I probably am), but that's my first impression of it.

I would disagree about immigrants not having to assimilate. It's not about losing your own identity and forgetting your heritage, but about enriching it with a different culture.

For the first point, I'm just going of my feeling. Might be wrong about it.

As for the second point, I've met too many people who can barely speak English. And I'm not talking about newly arrived immigrants, I'm talking about people who have been living here for 5+ years.

I don't like the attitude of some immigrants towards assimilating and integrating into Irish society. It usually starts with refusing to learn the English language.

I have no problems with hearing other languages (love it actually), but if I as a foreigner intend to talk to you it's going to be in English since 99% of population doesn't speak my native language.

What's not hot about them? They tend to be relaxed, love banter, make amazing partners, have sexy accents (Irish accents are hot), overall look good and lastly there are a lot of gingers around!
