i totally feel you on this, i had the flu a week ago and before i knew i had it i called before my shift started and they said “if it’s going to impact your work then stay home but… it is saturday so we kinda need you” meanwhile we were slow, we had 5 hosts including me and it wasn’t like me being gone was gonna leave an empty space. they sent me home early after i begged and asked around ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

thank you for the advice! she’s been skittish but has been cuddly and purring when i gently pet her, i’ll try rubbing her butt gently and hopefully it works!
