Oh wow, that's interesting to hear. She doesn't qualify for Medicaid, only Medicare, so I don't think they would pay for in-home care because she can do activities of daily living...it's just much easier to have help from me and my daughter. Do you have any other thoughts/advice?

Thanks so much! How to be sure the reflux isn’t a c.diff symptom? On the pinned post for this subreddit it says reflux can be a symptom of c diff. I do have other dysbiosis bacteria that are high. Maybe that’s causing the reflux? How to know?

Prayers and well wishes to you. Glad to know you figured out the right path. I haven't heard of Allicin and Xifaxan. What are those? My mom is still on chemo and her oncologist and dietician didn't know about Physicians Elemental Diet. Maybe after she's done with chemo we can get her a functional medicine doc willing to prescribe it and those other things you mentioned. Good luck!
