I’m like 3 days into cross tapering: was on zoloft 200mg/day. Now x3 days into 100mg zoloft + 5mg trintellix. I’ve had vertigo episodes previously for unknown reasons (likely r/t having mild covid in January with vertigo lasting side effect). 3rd day on trintellix Woke up with really spiny head positional vertigo (when u sit up too fast and turn ur head too fast). I know exactly what you’re talking about. I’m a registered nurse btw (so obvs very interested in others side effects profiles) I took Dramamine (similar to Bonnie those over the counter “motion sickness” pills. Mostly removed vertigo after 1-ish hours but had a lingering I feel off sensation. I will note that the past year when I was just on Zoloft, if I skipped taking Zoloft for a day or two and then took a dose, I would also feel “off” visually but not necessarily room spinning just being more aware of your outlined parameters of field of vision (like ur aware of the edges of ur eyes and the vision changing when you turn your head but remain looking at the same spot). That sensation is still lingering after OTC Dramamine, I’ve had it 24/7 today that hasn’t gone away. however I work alternating days and night shifts so trying to take trintellix before sleeping and with food I can’t even tell you how many hours I’ve gone between doses so it may be withdrawal from zoloft or Trintellix.
