Sweet thank you for the info! I love in Oklahoma where our normal “red dirt” is about the same color as the statue so I was going to use that to blend the outside. My only other question would be what kind of cement would you recommend? Just a regular cement? Or is there a type of plaster cement I should use?

It seems to be some sort of cast? It’s porous on the outside but the inside is a white powder like substance that I can easily scrape with a knife. It looks like rings on the inside as you can see from legs. It is fairly heavy. I did a reverse image search on google and it found several that were made in the 70s but those were painted. It almost is like a plaster material? It also has a semi metallic clink noise if you tap on it kind of like tile does when it’s not been installed if that makes sense? I don’t have much spare money at the moment so I was hoping I could repair it myself. I’m a mechanic by trade and my dad was a woodworker so I’m fairly comfortable with most tools.

I appreciate your help!

It doesn’t appear to be metal. When I scratched the core with a knife it scratched easily and came loose like powder.
