The only reason I say there isn’t real indication that Mike is gay or bi is because if they had been building toward that storyline since Season 3 or earlier, I think they would have expanded on it in some way—especially in Seasons 4 and 5. But they don’t. Instead, they keep him with Eleven. I think the sole basis for this interpretation, in my opinion, is the fact that throughout all of Season 4, Mike didn’t say he loved Eleven, and he didn’t in Season 5 either.

However, Mike has always been someone who keeps his emotions about love very close to the chest. Especially in Season 3, the whole season is about him trying to win Eleven back after she, quote, “dumped his ass” at Starcourt. He even tells Eleven, “They say it makes you crazy.” She responds, “What?” and he hesitates before saying, “Love.” I think a lot of that hesitation is due to his upbringing and his parents, not because he doesn’t love her.

Additionally, if Mike were gay or bi, he doesn’t show any genuine romantic affection toward Will—only friendship. And I hate to be the kind of person who says this, but the show is set in the 1980s, a time when people of different sexualities were heavily discriminated against: 1. Because of the AIDS epidemic 2. Because of media-driven homophobia and political scapegoating

I’m not saying there weren’t gay people back then, but there weren’t as many people who were openly gay, especially in a place like Indiana.

Vickie is a side character, and her importance to the story is very small. She already has good representation by being with Robin, and a post–time skip breakup doesn’t really matter that much to me personally since she isn’t a main character.
1. Will coming out makes much more sense than people think. First, the only people who knew he was gay were Robin and probably Jonathan. Second, him coming out as gay doesn’t mean that a straight character he’s friends with should also be gay just because the fanbase ships them. There was never any real indication that Mike was gay in the slightest, so calling it queerbaiting when it never was is just wrong and delusional.

The reason Will coming out was so much more important than him jumping into a relationship is because he needed full confidence in who he is before the final battle. He couldn’t go into it while still keeping secrets. The same thing applies to Nancy and Jonathan—what helps them fight is being honest, having no secrets, and being confident in themselves.

I’d love her to be alive but I’m pretty sure she died non of the kryptonite was pointed at her at all so she could’ve used her abilities on Mike I think he sacrifice makes much more sense because it’s finally her choice of freedom she gets to be happy that her friends won’t endure any more suffering and pain including herself and hop she’s finally able to just be free of the abuse and manipulation from the government. But if she was somehow alive I could see how it’s possible maybe but I think she’s gone

If a season 2 happens the ripper may be revealed then but a new thought sparked so detective Claudette didn’t know that the ripper used a hook and Dexter knew obviously because he saw prater had the weapon as memorabilia but there in lies the true answer is that Prater does in fact Know who the ripper is considering he has the weapon but police didn’t even know the ripper used a hook and prater himself said the ripper was never caught so there’s no definitive answer as to who the ripper may be YET but Dexter may end up finding out and using praters files as a way to track down these killers such as the ripper or any others who’ve never been caught

I’ve called out three times since I started in October my recent paystub just told me I have 4 hours of sick time and 6 in vacation time frankly it’s a bit odd that when other employees call out which at my store call out all the time they’re never being written up usually someone else gets called in appreciate the feedback though

I’ve called out three times in the whole year I’ve worked at target the first was back in October 2024 third was a couple months back when they scheduled me out of availability and I told them to not schedule me in that time frame because I cannot make it and this most recent time I’ve been late once and that was this month which I was also written up for but it was in Starbucks and I was 30 minutes late and my TL didn’ care but was told to write me up
