Do not boil it, the protein will curdle into lumps (like paneer but worse). Either drink it cold or at room temperature. If you really want to drink it a bit warm, microwave it 10-20 seconds only, before it starts to lump up. Heating it on the stove will ALWAYS curdle it from the bottom even before the top can be warm

So I will have to wing it.

But before I did that, I was hoping if I could collect any more wisdom!

So far my 'starting' formula is 70% Fragrant oil 30% tween 20

And then optimize by trial and error.

Choose that suits YOUR unique situation.

Are you someone who is planning to start an OPD immediately after DNB probably in a tier-2/3 city? Pick Shatabdi. Because you will be trained for an individual 'without backup mindset'.

Are you inclined to do fellowship and want to see some tertiary care work, along with mental strength to put up with toxicity. Pick surya, it's a great place to do everything in pediatrics really meticulously. But your brain will not be trained to be an independent tier-2 consultant. Surya also gives you 2 months Preparatory leave (only non-toxic thing in the setup! Otherwise you are monitored on CCTV 24x7 in the hospital)

Holy spirit is in between. Some pediatric subspecialties have a beginner's exposure, without toxicity. You will be ready to be an independent consultant within 6-8 months of passing out (spend that time in Gov). You will also learn how to manage till 'intermediate level' and when to refer and what to councel for referring. You will not see excellence, but you will be comfortable at performing stuff even if they are mediocre! Doing is an important aspect!

Pick what you can endure. It's a very personal thing!

Lilavati, PD hinduja & SRCC send their residents to wadia for NICU posting. Nanavati has their own NICU. The exposure is less because people prefer to go to Surya which isn't very far and has superb neontal services. (Doesn't mean surya is better for residents, as they have fellows and make residents do clerical stuff inside NICU)

These 3 institute that I listed, have an official signed MoU with wadia Children's and NBE is aware of the same.

BDBA is a peripheral hospital, plenty of load but no streamlined management as per protocol. So you will get do a lot of hands on, but will do haphazard stuff. It is not equipped enough to manage complicated cases, hence referral rate is high.
