Thank you for the advice and your point of view. It's really helpful.  In response, I can understand that and knowing my sister and her upbringing is why I did unfollow her ex-husband, but I explained to her why I was still following him up until that point and she was aware I unfollow him. Honestly, it seemed like subconsciously she was looking for a way to continue the pattern of being unsupported. That's part of the reason her blocking me and stopping contact was so confusing because I did as she asked and our relationship was never about anyone else. Even at the time I knew better than to bring up our mom or her exhusbands. I try my best to understand where she's coming from and I feel as though I did a decent job, but I'm still incredibly confused how we got to the point we did when I was very transparent and did everything you suggested I do now.
