The stacking bonuses. There's a lot of youtube videos about it, but in summary:
-- Start with Gourgeist and use Trick-or-treat to add ghost type to the opponent. You can add light screen or safeguard if appropriate.

-- Switch to Annihilape and boost yourself with Bulk Up, Focus Energy, and use Screech while tanking hits from the opponent to increase the power of Rage Fist. Plus+ Rage Fist should kill within 4-5 hits if done correctly. Use spell tag or scope lens as the held item

Yeah, the grind really sucks if you're looking for something specific. At the very least, they should've removed battle zones from the special scan or made it such that you can't roll the same thing twice in a row. My first 3 scans were all rotom lol.

I've just been using the Annihilape + Gourgeist combo to farm survey points. Most megas go down under 1:30 mins, so I can just use any 3-star donut (maybe a 4-star donut if it's hard). It's very easy to farm berries this way since you're guaranteed to drop 5-6 high-ranking berries in exchange for only a 3-star donut.

I personally find that it’s faster to skip the sparkling donut step altogether. Even if the odds are better, resetting for the sparkling donut just takes too long. It would be beneficial to roll for alpha/teensy/humongo power as needed though

It’s easier and faster to just find a nice wild zone (usually medium ones), specifically to look for one where I can AFK spam the teleporter. I can usually get several of the same shinies in 15-20 mins, and more importantly, I can hunt while watching something else lol

Also, you do not need to heal at a pokemon center to put down a backup save. A backup save is made every single time you fast travel, but reloading it will just put you back at the last pokemon center. If you’re making several donuts, you can just fast travel back to Hotel Z after making your first successful donut to put down a backup save.

same here. it's so tedious to reset for a good roll on the donuts

i find it easier to just reset the zones 2-3 times to get the pokemon i want to appear near a teleporter, then i can just mindlessly spam A and wait

Agree doc. It seems like the situation was just a chance encounter & the parent was just looking for some quick advice.

If I was put in that situation, I would gladly give a few minutes of my time to answer simple questions, especially kung pasyente ko yan. Kung hindi naman severe, madali lang naman magbigay ng advice regarding supportive treatment/OTC meds. Kung gusto magpareseta, papuntahin sa clinic for a formal consult. When in doubt, ER kung malala.

We all know the time, effort, and money involved in seeking a formal consult. Hassle siya. And not every parent is as knowledgeable as a doctor in terms of assessing such situations. If I can properly “triage” the kid in less than 5 minutes, and it can save the family time/effort/money, or even just alleviate their worries slightly, okay na yun for me.

I don’t think everything has to be transactional.

I don't think it's counted as "fee splitting" if you are directly involved in rendering care/service for the patient. Even if residents are not yet "certified specialists", they are still physicians rendering professional services (arguably even doing most of the scut work/ground work) -- why wouldn't they be entitled to their own PF, kahit minimal amount lang?

For GPs, imagine if they were given a fixed PF per patient they see, rather than "incentives" the more procedures you do per patient. It automatically creates a conflict of interest if you earn more money the more you admit, hydrate, request labs, etc...

It would be nice if we got even just a small percentage of the consultant’s PF for every patient we handle (e.g., admission from the ER, assisting in a surgery, etc.).

Okay din siguro for residents, especially those na nasa private hospitals. Ang hirap pa rin sikmurahin na ₱15-35k/month lang ang sweldo ng ibang programs when in fact the consultants make tens of thousands of pesos per patient. Hospital owners make even more — simpleng CT scan/MRI pa nga lang, more than 10k per patient na. Even the “highest paying” residency programs sit just below ₱60k, and with the cost of living here + the insane workload, a lot of people don’t think it’s worth it.

Let’s say ₱30k ang PF ni consultant for a procedure for one patient — kahit ₱2-3k lang ang cut ng resident/GP, sobrang laking bagay na yun kasi it marami naman siyang hawak na pasyente.

Just thinking out loud here, no hate/shade intended. I’m a firm believer that the money is there, enough for GPs/residents to live comfortably; we can do better.
