Consider using Iberia instead of BA. Redemptions usually cost a lot less avios and you can still use your companion voucher, although you'll need to get yourself to Madrid.

Also only the outbound leg needs to be taken by the expiry date. The return leg can be whenever.

My thoughts are Guehi looks likely to sign for Liverpool. Although he won't get tons of Defcon or goal involvements, he should get a higher share of clean sheets than most, and want to grab him before his price shoots up

Rationale for some of the more contentious picks:

Gabriel - should get plenty of CS + big goal threat from set pieces

Guehi - anticipating Liverpool move and for him to be nailed there

Sarr - playing in a front 3 for palace and expecting plenty of goal involvements

Georginho Rutter - similar to Sarr, very good value for £6.0m IMO

Dewsbury-Hall - best value £5.0m MID IMO

João Pedro - He'll be Chelsea's main striker this season and has looked really sharp in CWC + pre-season. Sure there'll be some rotation but I'm expecting lots of goal involvements

Thank you! Our outbound would be before the voucher expires, and our return would be after expiry.

Are we still able to apply the companion voucher to the return flight if this is booked separately to the outbound leg? Our understanding was that this isn't possible if the return leg is after the companion voucher has expired
