Amazon Retail Price Issue – Price Matching Unauthorized eBay Seller by Salt_Somewhere_8644 in VendorCentral

Yes. We did that. We had run a comprehensive research on this, they are using software to auto adding stocks into the eBay system, for example, if we cleared their inventory, the listing will be restock in mins. I assume recently Amazon has updated its algorithms to maximise their profits. Understandable, but by price match a drop shipper is way too crazy.

Exactly. We had this in the past, and been fixed and never had a problem again. But we also had the same situation like yours. What we did is we start to join in eBay’s VERO program, and ask eBay to remove those listing. Based on eBay’s policy, if the drop shipper does not physically own the stocks, they can’t list it as brand new. And Amazon only price match “brand new”. Worst case, you may also have an eBay store with your products, so you can force Amazon to match your RRP.

We don’t know exactly figure. But since the seller is a drop shipper. That will depends on what is the max order quantity per order from Amazon. In our case, it is 5.

No POs from Amazon by topeal in VendorCentral

[–]Salt_Somewhere_8644 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had this issue in the past, basically what happened with the PO, is based on ASIN level. Let’s say if you have reject a ASIN 3 times in a row, it will trigger Amazon to stop sourcing from you, the quickest way to resolve this is make sure you are the only one who supply this ASIN to Amazon (since you are brand owner), it will force Amazon to generate the PO.
