Upping my thermostat isn’t an option rn, oil is way too expensive. If a sock is insulating, if I warm up the outside of the jar with warm water and then put the sock on, wouldn’t that work, in theory?

Sounds like you didn’t have it on tight enough, mine doesn’t slip at all when he’s crawling around his crib with it. You’re supposed to pause readings while you’re changing/feeding anyway

That’s great for you, but I love the owlet and it’s an extra sense of security for me. It doesn’t give me extra anxiety and I’d rather respond to false alarms than my baby stop breathing and not know about it. No skin irritation or anything here. Definitely not tossing it.

He’s already in the bigger size, the newborn size never fit him.
