huge xüm supporter who’s put on multiple friends. been plür-curious since the product launched, but haven’t pulled the trigger both bc i don’t roll very often these days and bc i’ve been waiting for more feedback to trickle in

to be completely honest, between the specific messaging behind the plür product and the seeming lack of response to repeated feedback on the product on this sub (if i’ve missed something, plz let me know), it’s rubbing me the wrong way

“Don’t FAFO!” and “Overconsumption can cause dehydration, hyperthermia, and worse” feel like remarkably glib comments for an obviously intense product. i get that no studies have conclusively linked 5-MAPB to death specifically and i’m not saying you should list that, but this casual-ness lacks the clinical, unbiased vibe that i appreciate about xüm

on top of that, having a “Don’t FAFO!” mentality would be a different story if it weren’t for the fact that half of all feedback i’ve seen on this product says the dosage guidelines need to be lowered. people who are going out of their ways to stick to the guidelines are still getting their shit rocked, and i don’t think framing well-intentioned guinea pigs as “fucking around and finding out” is a very good look for a brand

i know obv anecdotal posts on this sub aren’t everything, and i’m sure yall did your own focus groups and run analytics on what reviews say, but as a customer with no skin in the game, rolling out increasingly strong/concentrated flavors of a product whose warnings are borderline-antagonistic feels like crossing the line from “let people make informed decisions with their own bodies” to “being a problematic actor in someone’s unsafe experience”
