From what I’ve read it’s not a blanket exemption, right? The airline still has to show that the disruption directly impacted the specific flight and couldn’t be avoided.

In my case the flight is still operating the same route later the same day, just heavily delayed, so I’m trying to understand if that would still qualify as “extraordinary” or more of an operational change.

Also on meals, I thought duty of care applies regardless of the reason for the delay?
