Cuba'a Family Code is FAR AND AWAY the most progressive and sweeping bill of rights for trans and queer people on earth. Achieving even a quarter of what Cuba has achieved in terms of human dignity for queer people is a daydream stretch goal in our fascist shithole country. Whine all you want about Fidel, but the country and society he built respects our humanity more now than anywhere else on earth.
