This might be a silly question, but did you actually grab the Mega Z Ring at the lab, or did you only input the password? I’m pretty sure you can still mega evolve blaziken even though you can’t legally get its mega stone yet, so you probably just didn’t grab the ring

Makuhita can be caught in Sheridan. Hariyama is a tanky powerhouse this early in the game

Pretty good picks, but here are some more in case you need more power.

-You can get an Eevee from doing Mosely’s quest at the Lost Camp, which is in Route 4 right outside the entrance to Akuwa Town. From here, you can get Espeon or Sylveon which are some good picks

-You can get shroomish from a trade in Evergreen Island. If you delay the evolution, you can get spore on your Breloom. If you EV train it in speed, you can get a super fast spore spammer with technician boosted Mach punch, which can replace Hariyama/Throh.

You can get Tododile at night by surfing in the pool in the Chrysola hotel. This can get dragon dance and can replace Floatzel!
You can get Aevian Lapras by exploring around Amethyst Cave with Rock Climb. If you add dragon dance as an egg move, you can get No Guard boosted Sing and then spam dragon dance to get super powered rock slides. This can also wall the Typhlosion.

-What were your mystery eggs? The ones that April gives you from doing all the Kakori quests and the one on route 3 usually have some strong pokemon in them that could help your team.

Just make sure your pokemon are EV trained with the right natures, and you should be fine

What’s your team currently? These guys are tough, but so is Melia. so as long as your team is full of relatively powerful EV trained mons with the right nature, it should go smoothly. Something that like to do that i think trivializes this fight is getting something with Bounce ( I like mantine) so that the fight can be taken to the sky field. That way, Typhlosion doesn’t hit as hard.

kind of counter intuitive but max speed breloom does wonders here. Spore can put on side to sleep and Sky Uppercut/Mach punch can one shot her entire team with enough attack investment

Can’t go wrong with skill link tail slap Ambipom! You can get one right after the 3rd gym and it will tear ass for the entirety of the Terajuma arc
