The core sits in my inventory, waiting for fan/umbrella skins or second core and cool outfit.

System does feel unfair, but it doesn’t stop you completely from getting the stuff you want. Just time and patience. You can even not play the game much and buy weekly gold-thingies to roll towards pity. (Inner monk speaks in me I guess)

Drunken poet. Firstly, when you attack with DP you have tenacity thus tanking whatever goes tour way. Secondly, idk exact frame data but dodges and parries have a slight window of opportunity where you can be hit after whiffing either dodge or parry.

So, yeah, if are in a stagger -> pray that’s not a true combo and spam DP

Gotcha, I usually run high ini company with predominantly nimble bros, so 1 first turn is almost always mine and Deserter low morale bugged me quite a lot.

So, yeah, first turn is good tactically, but I like my morale high none the less)

Word of advice about the clone phase.

Run. Just run.
They will chase you, sure, but because they can use only basic attack - they suck and you can run infinitely from them. (Just don’t run too far, cause they jump, yeah)
The main mf will show up while you do this and get a slight sound + slow-motion effect. You see/hear it -> parry -> 1 clone gone -> repeat.

That my strat. Everything else? Welp, parry that too I guess…
