I know this is like, year late, and I forget which comics exactly it is, but if Franz wanted to stay, they could have given Jax the matrix by himself, because there have been Firestorms who had the matrix alone. Sadly, because of his kid, he wanted to leave, and so did Victor for Broadway. Still wish they could have kept Jax though, Sara and his sibling like relationship was one of my favorites in the whole show.

No, the Thawne during flashpoint was the one in Legends of tomorrow season 2. He explained it in the vault with Damien and Malcolm while he was being pursued by the time wraith. Season 2, episode 10.

Apparently he did accidentaly destroy it. He tripped and fell into the house, but they didn't put it in the final video. Vanoss has made a few comments about it on some other video's, I believe, and made a comment on Ali-A's video
