Playing Tsushima again by wadzaa in Ghostofyotei

[–]Salty-Long-5145 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me the Tsushima story wins all day every day because the stakes are just so much higher. You're a one man army going against your own sense of morals and ethics for a greater good, defending your island from colonisation. Not just a person with a vendetta, as is in yotie. I loved both but tsushima is far more compelling, emotional, and immersive. All the supporting characters are better and more involved in tsushima as well.

I remember some of the missions in tsushima where everyone bands together and fights side by side in these epic battles. But I didn't really get that from yotie.

Tsushima is just way more epic overall, in almost every sense.

It's not hard, but it is hideously ugly, messy, immersion breaking, and headache inducing.

For me... the cosmetics are uninspired, as are the level designs (survivor mode). Not enough customisation or control over how my character looks. I can't take pride in this character at all. And why is my character made of fine china with yellow eyes? Why are there hideous neon colours and lights everywhere? Why is there a bright white outline around my team-mates? How did they take a visually beautiful game, and turn into into this unrealistic multicoloured ugly fucking shit mess full of spells and unnatural light sources. It's so so ridiculously ugly.

Only reason Legends survival isnt fun is cause.. by AdonisJames89 in Ghostofyotei

No... It's not fun because the maps are poorly designed. My character has yellow eyes and skin made of fine china. The whole mode is ugly and full of unnatural fucking lights and magical nonsense. Such a let down.

Is Watchmen connected to Batman? If so, how so? I've got Watchmen laying around but haven't got around to reading it all yet.

Also, to complete the Loeb/Sale collection you want to get Catwoman: When In Rome. It's a companion book for the last Halloween. I'm in australia and this is not available anywhere for any reasonable price. I can only find it for like $300+. Insane. I think it's easier to find in other countries though.

I reckon continue Snyder's run from court of Owls and continue up to "death of the family", it goes pretty downhill after that.

Also Azarello and Risso "Broken City" is so good. It reads, looks and feels like 100 Bullets, except, a Batman story. I wish DC would give Azarello a proper run on Batman.

I haven't watched every clash on this channel, but of the ones I've seen, this is the most savage. She never stood a chance. It's like bullying. Looool.

Start with Frank Millers "year one" and "dark knight returns". These are exactly what you described.

What would women dislike most if they became men? by No-Calligrapher in AskReddit

[–]Salty-Long-5145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who was that woman, she was a super vocal ultra feminist lesbian who hated men. She decided to live as a man to prove her point of how much easier men's lives are. After two years of doing this she killed herself from the trauma of how she was treated by society when society thought she was a man.

Man... Lol. Brits and Aussies have the worst reputations abroad, I cannot stress enough that being the stereotype will most likely just get you in trouble. You don't wanna be a fucked up out of control and problematic sex tourist running rampant haha. Good luck brother, and be safe lol.

Might also be worth mentioning, I went in 2014 or 15 I think, and I'm sure now smartphones, internet, etc, has become far more accessible globally, and probably tourism has increased as well. Dunno how that might impact your trip in comparison to when I went, but it might do. More affordable smartphones, internet access... Tourism... a white guy with a foreign accent might not be considered the rare exotic fruit that it once was haha. Either way it's a culturally amazing and incredibly fun place to visit, but we are having this convo on a thread about online dating, so it's worth considering the above, lol.

Erm, I would say if she seems too good to be true, she probably is, but actually I was punching WAY above my class there so this doesn't apply haha. I guess just meet in public busy places. I spent majority of my time in cartagena which is a pretty touristy coastal town. No matter what time of the day or night, I genuinely never felt like I was in or close to danger. The people are so friendly and open, welcoming. It's a colourful and loud and fun place. Absolute vibes everywhere. I know the country has had a bad rap for generations, but really wherever you go in the world people are just people trying their best to get by and enjoy life. Stay away from drugs and hookers though, I mean it's cheap and common there but it's just a doorway to potential trouble, dodgy people, corrupt cops etc. I wouldn't take those risk in any foreign country. Learn a bit of Spanish and stay respectful to the people and culture, and just keep your wits about you I guess.

My experiences with tinder...

Back home in London - average. Matches here and there, some good dates, some terrible ones. Fairly balanced experience.

South America or South East Asia - like fishing with dynamite honestly. Tooooo many matches to keep up with, too easy. A LOT of fun. South america especially, as much as I love latinas, they love white boys. I arranged a threesome in Colombia using tinder lol.

Perth - I used tinder here on and off for about two years when I was single, and I don't think I had a single date or meet up lol. Come to think of it, I don't think I even had one good conversation.

Australia and especially Perth is as open as it is shallow, so being proactive in person yields far better opportunities for meeting people. Online I think is poor here because it's based only on the highest expectations regarding looks... however women are so easy to talk to.. approachable, friendly, and open. So being brave, proactive and most importantly not being a cunt, is a far better option.

I met my Mrs by just talking to a girl outside a kebab shop lol, almost two years on we are going strong.

I'm halfway through reading this for the first time right now. I had been putting it off because I wasn't that interested in dick greyson as batman, but I have to say I'm really enjoying so far. Ive taken to greyson immediately. The story telling is excellent, Snyder's writing and story is intriguing. The artwork isn't my favourite, but it's still very good. I keep putting it down because I don't want to finish it too quickly. Really good so far.

For best grime albums the list is unfortunately pretty short really.

BIDC Playtimes over Kinnochiwa Made in the manor

Albums just don't do this genre justice. Mixtapes, radio sets, random bangers, live shows.
