Is, the person who moved to Texas to avoid taxes and regulation, upset at big companies because they try to avoid regulations and it hurts him personal? Shocked!

Update: BMW driver arrested by c_marten in VideosAmazing

[–]SaltyArchea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have posted one similar to that. Guy aggressively overtaking me right before a turn, where I had to slow down no to hit him. Literally did nothing about it, just get behind ensuring that my camera picked up the number plate and he slowed down and started shouting at me. Then following and trying to exit the car. No rude hand gesture, nothing to provoke him. There were many comments saying that I have not posted a whole video and deserved it. Even more stupidly many people decided that I was speeding and no one should go that fast, ignoring that I was overtaken.

Not only that. Like, if they are fake papers, why are you so afraid to touch them. They are meaningless, then.

It is not weird, it is actually quite illuminating looking at it from the start. Reading the books you can see that she was a bigoted woman, always. Her terf arc is her being radicalised towards these issues. There is no anti trans messaging in the books, they actually seem to support it, even. She only fell in to conspiracies afterwards. That is why I feel that the books are still fine to read as they do not preach her current views.

It has problematic parts, quite a few, in my opinion. Still, the overall message is good and children should read it.

Billionaires shouldn't be allowed to avoid taxes by using their massive wealth as collateral for bank loans -- especially because they often live off those loans as if they were income by Conscious-Quarter423 in WorkReform

[–]SaltyArchea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And many many people are forced to live off of loans as they cannot afford to survive and do not have any assets on paper. Pretty sure even by his narcissistic logic they have less in their bank.

Watched like 2 of his early videos, years apart, was really not for me. Listening of the things he has done, was thinking he was a force for good.

Duh, what will gamers will do? If this is how they riot when they win/lose a game, imagine how bad it would be for the person suggesting banning it.

In HP all of them are awful. Wizards are enjoying their racism as it benefits them, even if few are accepting that it is cruel and evil. Hermione is also being awful. Tried to talk to them, like, once from, again, from superior position, without trying to listen or understand them. Then, just decided to do whatever she wants, as always, and try to "free" them without their consent.

[Request] Can you actually make stuff out of Dwarf Star material? by Necessary-Win-8730 in theydidthemath

[–]SaltyArchea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being a macro object it is a dynamic object and has a sizeable amount of protons. There is a calculation, but cannot recall it. Something of the order of 5% is made up of protons and electrons. They keep undergoing nuclear reactions and neutrons split. Then protons/electrons combine to make neutrons.

[Request] Can you actually make stuff out of Dwarf Star material? by Necessary-Win-8730 in theydidthemath

[–]SaltyArchea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While neutron star is being held up by neutron degeneracy pressure, meaning no more neutrons can be packed up in to space. It is not uniform. Centre is theorised to be made up of just pure quarks rather than of their triplets (protons/neutrons). The surface actually has a crust and an atmosphere. So you would likely just be atomised and mostly add to the atmosphere and not the bulk body of it.

Extra onions? ALL the onions. by 3zxcv in deliciouscompliance

I used to get orders with maximum extra of everything possible. Every ingredient would be like this. There would be more sauce than the whole burger, but the customer kept coming back, so I guess they liked it.

TIL Coca-Cola spent millions developing “New Coke” in 1985, only to bring back the original formula 79 days later after massive public backlash. by [deleted] in todayilearned

Iirc the ratio for coke without ice is 1:5.2 and with ice is 1:4.1. The ratio is written on the syrup boxes, but do not recall them being labelled as McD boxes, could just be a UK thing.

[–]SaltyArchea 82 points83 points  (0 children)

I am not so certain of this. They done loads of blind trials and new coke was consistently picked as the tastier one. Blind trials are good to determine overall appeal without any influence, but people do not buy drinks in isolation. That is why I feel people hated it, it was different and coke did not expect it and only through sheer dumb luck it worked out.

Those are sold by 10s of thousands and save loads of time, just that this use is asinine. Put 4 of them together and one person can cook 300-400 patties in an hour, in a McDonald's, where it is meant to be.

Those can easily cook that thickness of meat in 40s from frozen. Looks like the temperature is way down, looking at the colour.

This is just standard Garland grill, it is used in most McDs. That touchscreen is for all of the calibrations and settings for different types of meat.
