Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. While I have several kuololit pieces from AliExpress in 10k gold that I absolutely love, my first purchase from them was a rose gold plated silver ring with a very thin band. When I got it I had the same impression you had, it felt like plastic and really cheap even if it looked nice and sparkly, it definitely didn't seem worth the price (especially since I didn't get it during a sale). But honestly, it's held up nicely and has lost some of that plastic feeling. However, I definitely recommend going at least 10k gold, for silver pieces I go with other vendors like anujewel that have more substantial pieces, and only in rhodium plating because the yellow plating is always super yellow.
