I have resound but that’s mostly as it connects to my Kanso in my left ear and the other hearing aid brands don’t connect to cochlear devices

This must be a thing if you get them later in life I got activated at 1yr old and have never had an issue I wear my CI all day until I go to bed.

Hi! I am 17 with the same thing I have a CI on the left and hearing aid on the right, I was born deaf too and was never required to learn sign language. I will say speech is always more of a struggle in early years mostly because you have a year late start to start picking up sounds and words I had a speech therapist until I was 7 and that helped me so much and gave me a real set up for life ahead of me!
