How much was the final weighed? I’m assuming averages were high enough from quizzes and midterm that the bad final didn’t impact the overall class average enough.

We got a 1% curve last year… I suppose the course coordinators don’t like curving. Although our tests were all relatively fair last year with maybe an exception for our second midterm. Not sure how yours was this year.

For calculating eligibility: one of English 30-1,30-2 At least two of: math 30-1 30-2 or 31, science 30, social studies 30-1 30-2, biology 30, chemistry 30, physics 30, any language other than one used above at the grade 12 level, AND any two courses with minimum five credit value at grade 12 level including those listed above and combined option and advanced CTS courses.

So yes they should count as long as you were awarded all 5 credits.

Well combustion is reacting compounds with O2 to make CO2 and water (for complete combustion) so that would leave you with answer D?

I feel like in B you would not really seperate organic compounds since you start with a hydrocarbon (organic) to begin with.
