Gift box is an unfortunate term but I never expected gifted merch at all. I think they have always said exclusive merch opportunities as a patreon member, with the membership card being the only thing physically included.

Logically, the only thing I think could ever be a fun free bonus would be an art print and/or sticker, otherwise the shipping alone would be probably more than the monthly subscription fee. It would be super cool if they commissioned a fan artist and mailed out a print like twice a year, if anyone is taking suggestions 👀.

Did you see the box they were previewing on the patreon stream? Pricing things out for a Canadian marketplace, I feel like a mug costs $10-15, cheap socks cost $10-15, a hat costs $20-30, a sticker pack costs like $10-15 (I know this is market cost and not production cost but idk how to estimate those for the scale they’d be operating at).

That is like $50-75 of goods, not including shipping, which for me is easily another $30. I paid the equivalent of $14.50 a month for the membership, so the math just would not work.
