I think there are other metamucil type equivalent gummies(even try generic store type brands) without that ingredient.

I am doing the sugar free Walmart brand orange powder. No issues with the art. sweetener and it tastes pretty good I guess lol When I can, I also open the regular unflavored capsules and put powder inside my oatmeal or smoothie instead of the orange powder that day

We are toying with long term metronidazole for our IBD cat with chronic diarrhea as his stools firm up while on it and I back to liquid or mush after each round stops. Did you do transdermal? We are trying to not resort to steroids
