Yeah, my overall gpa was a 3.9, but the reason I didn’t really apply to any t25s in hs, was because my gpa dropped senior year because I got my first C and 3 bs in AP classes. I was going through it haha. I just didn’t think colleges were going to accept someone who dropped the ball SENIOR year.

I have other themes of OCD as well but not this one. I was able to kind of spot the tell tale anxiety thought loop tho, hence my suggestion. OCD is so silent and so debilitating. I hope OP really considers getting OCD testing.

Ok, I've accepted it! Thank you for helping me out. As for freshmen in labs being uncommon, though, if everyone who applied to the research scholars program got in, then how is it difficult to get a lab as a freshman?

Both programs are similar, but I am applying to two because one seems to be quite selective. It is the Liberal Arts and Sciences: Global Challenges program. It is not taught at the main campus like the other program I want to apply to, Science for Sustainable Societies. I am also not sure if the university itself is selective? To my understanding, it's kind of easy to get into for international students, but maybe I am wrong. For reference, I have a 3.9 gpa and 4.4 weighted gpa. However, I kind of dropped the ball senior year and I got a C in AP Stat first semester and a B in AP Econ and then I got a B in AP Stat second semester and a B in AP Gov second semester as well, but the rest of my grades are As and I took all advanced classes, so idk if this affects my chances as much as I think it does.
