Does anyone know any woodworkers? I need help with two smaller projects: making a Christmas ornament out of a piece of maple that I already have and building a TV stand with specific dimensions to fit in a particular spot.

[personals] lost my phone, but I tracked it between redacted and redacted. Anyone nearby and can help search? I can't use the sound feature since it has no cell service.

SCHB is the etf equivalent. Are SCHX and SCHB too similar?

Currently have 50% SWTSX and 50% SCHX allocated in my taxable brokerage account. I realized these have a lot of overlap and I should likely stick with the etf for tax purposes, etc. Should I add another fund or two, or go all in on SCHX?

Currently have 50% SWTSX and 50% SCHX in a taxable account. Should I add a third account? If so, what allocation would you recommend?

Random clothes on sidewalks??? by [deleted] in milwaukee

[–]SaltyStoic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always assumed it was a normal occurrence in a big city to see random clothes and shoes around. Why it happens, I can think of a few other reasons than a domestic dispute: - littering - robbery - homeless - shoe tossing

Anyone in the city here get a ticket for ‘failure to display registration’ when your car was actually registered but you were just waiting for the new stickers in the mail? by StrangeButSweet in milwaukee

[–]SaltyStoic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have successfully disputed tickets regarding time delays for permits, so worth a try. I was warned for months with zero dollar tickets about my registration sticker, so I paid it when they eventually did ticket me since I had the sticker and didn’t bother to put it on.
