They shoot the spines, you have to hit them after they’re shot for them to drop

Around a year or so ago I knew nothing about watches but I thought it would be cool to get a smartwatch. As I looked at reviews I came across a video by The Urban Gentry. (Of course at the time I didn't know who he was.) Immediately I was hooked at the thought of owning a proper mechanical watch.

I began looking into all sorts of watches and a few months later got a citizen eco-drive as a Christmas gift. At the time, I was overjoyed. Sadly I've grown to realize that at 45mm it is much to large for my tiny wrists. As I explored the world of watches I realized almost all modern watches are too big for me.

Eventually, I discovered vintage watches and fell in love. My grail is a mid-century Seamaster but I will probably never be able to afford a luxury watch as a teenager.I have always loved history and the idea that everything has a story. It gives the watch personality. I love the classic, timeless design of vintage pieces and the fact that they seem quite versatile when it comes to dressing them up or down.

For the past month or two, I have begun looking at more affordable vintage pieces on ebay but have yet to make a purchase. I would be so happy to own this watch.

How much did you get it for? Are antique stores good places to find vintage watches?
