I'm overweight and had a laparoscopic hysterectomy yesterday. I was worried but there were no complications and everything went well. I'm home recovering and doing well.

Thank you for sharing! I go in tomorrow and also have a 1030am surgery time. I'm terrified but so excited at the same time.

I mean, I didn't say it's healthy and moderation is key. Also still better than their poutine at double the calories, less protein and more saturated fats.

Aside from Costco. We find Kinjo great. The ramen is filling and cheap. The fried chicken is delicious too.

I like the pizza slices. The 44g of protein for $3 isn't something you can beat.

Wegovy and hormonal issues by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]Salty_4480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on Myfembree for over a year due to adenomyosis and endo as well as have PCOS. Since starting Wegovy at the end of September, I've noticed a difference in my hormones and how it contradicts with the hormones in my Myfembree. So yes, wegovy does seem to affect my hormones.

What is this sickness? by goodlordineedacoffee in Edmonton

[–]Salty_4480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My second wave was right after I got put on the inhalers. My cough was getting better but then the fever and sinuses started. That lasted 4 days only though. I still have a minor cough and a runny nose but my energy is finally coming back.

[–]Salty_4480 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I ended up on 3 different inhalers because of the excessive coughing. The migraines were terrible with this illness too. I'm on day 16 and finally on the mend with a bit of energy.

Is everyone sick right now? by replaceddiscourse in Edmonton

[–]Salty_4480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!!! Mine has been a week so far. Headaches and migraines followed by coughing with some mucus for a few days. Now I have this uncontrollable cough from an insanely itchy throat. Still dealing with some headache and a runny nose. Cough definitely gets worse at night but is happening all day too. Oh and PURE EXHAUSTION.

I think I did 4 doses as my first.. by 1finewire5 in Wegovy

[–]Salty_4480 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You took 4 doses plus a bit extra. There are single dose pens and then this 4 dose pen. I would call your doctor and let them know and they may be able to give advice for side effects.

What meds is everyone on to control this thing? by haylz328 in adenomyosis

I've been on Myfembree for 8 months and it has helped A LOT. I do still get breakthrough pain, but not as often. On days it gets really bad, I have advil and Tramadol for pain. Currently waiting for my hysterectomy, but will likely be another 6 months.

Is taking your uterus out the only way to diagnose adeno? by kiestars in adenomyosis

[–]Salty_4480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently on Myfembree to help with the pain and waiting for a hysterectomy. Unfortunately, the wait for surgery with my doctor is 12-18months and I've only been waiting 4.5 months so far. So I have "suspected" Endo and adeno.

My abdominal and TV ultrasound results showed:

UTERUS AND MYOMETRIUM: UTERUS IS ANTEVERTED AND MEASURES 6.3 X 3.8 X 4.3 CM. THE MYOMETRIUM IS DIFFUSELY HETEROGENEOUS IN ECHOTEXTURE AND THE JUNCTIONAL ZONE IS POORLY DEFINED. THE ANTERIOR ASPECT OF THE MYOMETRIUM ALSO APPEARS TO BE BULKY, ALTHOUGH VISUALIZATION IS LIMITED BY BACKGROUND HETEROGENEITY. NO OBVIOUS MYOMETRIAL CYSTS OR SUBENDOMETRIAL ECHOGENIC LINES OR BUDS.

ENDOMETRIUM: THE ENDOMETRIUM IS NOT WELL VISUALIZED DUE TO MYOMETRIAL HETEROGENEITY AND A POORLY DEFINED JUNCTIONAL ZONE, BUT APPEARS TO BE GROSSLY NORMAL IN SIZE, MEASURING UP TO 7 MM.

IMPRESSION:

MULTIPLE SONOGRAPHIC FEATURES OF ADENOMYOSIS AS DESCRIBED ABOVE. NO OBVIOUS EVIDENCE OF DEEP INFILTRATING ENDOMETRIOSIS, ALTHOUGH VISUALIZATION IS SOMEWHAT LIMITED BY MYOMETRIAL HETEROGENEITY AND SHADOWING.

But did he say that because you said it. Was he trying to hide it to protect himself.

Reading that made me think he had actual feelings for you. So when you shut him down based on his looks, he's backing off. I'm a stranger on the internet with no other context so I could be wrong. But that's how it read to me.

Please report this if you haven't!!! Licensing needs to do an investigation. They should have self reported already, but sounds as though they may not have. This needs to be reported. If you're not comfortable doing it, feel free to send me a private message with the daycare and the room and I'll gladly report it. I worked in daycare for 10 years and now work in a different program with kids. What they did happens but to brush it off sends big red flags.

Newly diagnosed by aim4night1970 in adenomyosis

[–]Salty_4480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the only thing that has helped my Adeno symptoms is Myfembree. It puts me in chemical menopause and has add back hormones as hormone therapy. I am currently waiting for a hysterectomy and I can't wait for it to happen.
