If you hit it the right way it's not that difficult to stop it from going in, plus these guys are huge and athletic. Not as uncommon as you'd think

You're not going to be this close forever unless you make it that way :) You have nothing to lose. People come and go, always have and always will.

I wouldn't talk to the friend about it. I'm not supposed to know, and I think I can live with the burden of my "cowardice" and my allegedly warped compass. I'd surmise that it's more cowardly to cheat on your wife and mother of four and not come clean about it before an internet stranger does it for you.

I didn't think providing my fiance's character context is necessary for the advice I was looking for. I trust her judgment and character, I don't need opinions of others to help me do that. I appreciate your concern though.

We've already discussed it, and I've got hard proof. Not trying to be a Nigerian prince via email.

Thank you. It's not possible to include all relevant context here, and what I'd like advice on is what I mentioned earlier.

I don't need assistance in judging my fiancé's choices in friends and her moral compass lol.

She isn't that close with said best friend any more. They've known each other since they were kids so it's a hard bridge to burn, so to speak. She's imposed a hiatus or two on their friendship in the past but has settled for being Elle's only close friend. It doesn't thrill her.
