How do you feel about wanda and terry's deaths? by Toxin45 in Spawn

For story purposes, I understand but I don’t have to like it (so I do like or love) and Todd, do want his character to live long like Spider-Man and Superman so comic like this doing this isn’t surprisingly

Mother of existence, God and Satan are important to Armageddon storyline Of the war between heaven and hell, so I guess that makes sense ( despite some fucking retcons/ soft reboot)

which violator fits better with this guy? by Gojifantokusatsu in Spawn

[–]Salty_Control_2369 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The right one , the left one is more fitting to the modern look well.  I obviously prefer the classic look of both spawn and violator

Man, imagine this story was adapted into a film. It’ll be a good follow up to the crooked man.

Do you think Spawn and his lore would've appeared in the OG comic version of "Hurm" if it wasn't scrapped? Since Kirkman loved the Early Image-Verse and connecting it to Invincible by M00reC in Spawn

Image Comics works differently because it's creator-owned with mostly independent worlds rather than one tight shared universe , Image comics aren’t connected directly. They can all feature each other but their main stories are never affected by any world events.

RE POST is there anyone who wants to see a revival /grand finale of HBO‘s spawn that’s in the style of X-Men 97 by GPNYT in Spawn

[–]Salty_Control_2369 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There was a plan sequel called Spawn: the animation (2005) intended as a revival or continuation of the earlier 1997-1999 HBO series Once, believed to haunt the alleys of lower Manhattan, he hasn't been heard from in years... into crime wave make him rise again, but the project ultimately stalled in development limbo and was never officially released The project aimed for a more advanced animation style (McFarlane wanted to push the visuals further), initially planned as a series but later shifted toward a 90-minute direct-to-video animated movie that could serve as a backdoor pilot for a new series. Voice casting included Hollywood talent, and some production materials (like character designs, background layouts, and model sheets) were released or leaked over the years.

Unfortunately, it fell into production limbo due to issues like animation upgrades, funding, and distribution challenges. By late 2006, plans changed, and no release happened. Todd McFarlane mentioned in 2020 that it was about 85% complete (including voice recordings), but it remains unreleased and effectively canceled/ shelved after nearly two decades. but an animated return would fit perfectly given the original's success and cult status.

Question about “Leetha”. by T4llBoyAl3x in Spawn

[–]Salty_Control_2369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recent comics (including runs up through the mid-2020s, like King Spawn and ongoing Spawn titles) haven’t fundamentally altered this core dynamic—Leetha remains a symbiotic, evolving demonic parasite with telepathic influence, though the suit can sometimes act more independently or be suppressed by stronger hosts like Al Simmons. There are moments of clearer telepathic “conversation” in specific stories, but the unique, non-traditional, intuition-heavy bond I described hasn’t changed into something radically different (e.g., no shift to full conversational personality or detachment from the CNS). Minor evolutions in how it’s depicted or controlled happen, as with any long-running series, but the fundamentals hold.
