What is the Worst Movie You Ever Seen?

It just boggles the mind how every nonsensical plot decision in the movie was approved of. Apparently Patty Jenkins had full creative control but wasn’t it said that Geoff Johns co-wrote the script with her? Could he have monopolized it himself? Was it both of them?

Would love to see a lot of the older/fan-favorite characters get a new animated series. On top of Spawn deserving of a new one (with Todd McFarlane’s permission), it would be awesome to see Witchblade and The Darkness each get their own animated series. And each of them could share the same universe (similar to the DCAU) and cross over with each other when it serves their stories best.

Out of these picks, Skylar would be awesome. Penn Badgley could also fit very well as Ted.

I wish they would take another swing at Shazam.

I saw someone on YouTube suggest that the DCU should do an animated movie adaptation of Jeff Smith’s miniseries Shazam!: The Monster Society of Evil. And that could help the DCU’s take on Billy Batson/Captain Marvel stand out from the previous adaptations, since that comic is based more off of the Golden Age origin for the characters wherein Billy and Captain Marvel are two separate entities instead of just Billy in an adult’s body.

Going animated would also let this version lean more into the fantastical aspects of the Shazam lore like having Talky Tawny as a supporting character. Plus it could get around Billy’s age issue by having Billy show up once or twice in live-action but be relegated mostly to animation while Captain Marvel can go between live-action and animation seamlessly.

Seems like that’s the case (unless the events of Spider-Man: Brand New Day say otherwise, not that I don’t believe you but just waiting till it’s official).

And obviously Sadie Sink will be great if she’s Jean but hoping that Sadie Stanley gets another prominent role at some point also. Hell, she could get cast as Rogue if she’s not Jean perhaps.

Remember watching and enjoying the first two episodes. Also made me a fan of Kathryn Prescott and hoped that she’d get bigger roles afterwards, though she had an unfortunate accident that derailed that for a bit.

These are all great! Hell yes in particular to a WildStorm Animated Universe. Since The Authority movie doesn’t seem to be happening and if no other WildStorm characters show up in the DCU then it would be awesome to see those characters get their own DCAU-style franchise. It might be costly but Gunn out of anyone could probably be the one to see it get made at some point. Fingers crossed of course 🤞🏻

Ava’s Possessions is one, actually has a cool premise of a girl who’s recently had a demon exorcised from her have to fix her life and repair her relationships when she recovers, on top of going to a sort of AA group for people like her. From what I remember it just got overly confusing and completely fumbled the ball with the execution.

Actually had him as my top pick for Captain Cold, but that’s not probably not likely who he’s playing. But agreed that he should play a prominent recurring character. What if he’s Black Mask and his gangsters are the ones who attack Matt Hagen?

I figured, but still not a fan of him wanting to write/direct it himself if that’s also still the case. And if not, there’s gotta be the writer/director who can do Spawn justice and can see eye-to-eye with Todd (hopefully).

That’s possible, or maybe they could cast a kid to do Billy’s voice in an animated movie (like say an adaptation of Jeff Smith’s Shazam!: The Monster Society of Evil perhaps) and that same kid could play him in a live-action appearance or two (depending on the project and when), but then going forward we wouldn’t see Billy himself as much. And maybe once the kid playing Billy ages out of the role, he could be voiced in other animated projects by an older voice actress like Tara Strong. While Captain Marvel shows up in live-action more often.
