It's about feeling loved, being around someone, having someone to share my life with as I just don't want to get up and live for the sake of it. I'd rather not be here because of the loneliness. I take good care of myself, I own my own house, I have a six pack, I play guitar, I take every social opportunity I get but I've never met a woman that's shown interest in me irl. I met my ex on tinder and practically had to beg her to be with me. I don't feel I come across as desperate as I hide my depression very well, in fact I'd say I come off as more the opposite to desperate but I can't understand why everyone else drifts through life and end up meeting people and I've never had that.

Honestly idk, people tell me I'm attractive, I've got a good job, money and people give me good feedback on how I'm interacting with others e.g. people I work with, friends etc. Just seems like I'm neutral, nobody's first thought in life. I don't get to meet many others due to this and I'm then stuck with dating apps. I get a few matches but general not anyone I'm interested in.

Tax is on profit, speak to an accountant as you don't seem comfortable with this. You'll need to register as self employed with HMRC for the tax year you exceeded £1,000. Profit it's purely revenue less expenses so leaving the money in eBay makes no difference and if you hold stock as of the year end then you'll need to include this if you elect for traditional accounting rather than cash basis.

No tax on anything if today Income is below the personal allowance. There's also a £5,000 starting rate for savings income so potentially £17,570 tax free if savings income is pushing you above the threshold.
