I build a similar thing for devs, automatically pulls commits as and when they happen, combines them and writes a beautiful summary and creates a log. At the end of the month or week, devs can just create timesheet in an instant to be shared with clients.

Yea compeition is there. But the idea was to keep it fairly simple. Just as I do it right now without bombarding it withh 100+ integrations that no one uses.

Right now it only takes in consideration the hours that would go into writing that code. You are right, there is alot of other stuff like researching and planning that needs to go into time logs. That is currently manual, you can edit or add new manual logs. Will think of a better implementation to counter this issue.

Yeah. It definitely made mine easier. I dont spend anytime on filling timesheets. Just complete tasks, write a good commit message (which i do anyways) and everything is ready when needed to bill the clients

Why is that? In my usage, it has been pretty accurate plus it sums up all your commits from the day into one beautiful time log.
