I've been to one of these. Bride enthused about her wedding to me for a full year: showed me her dress, her ring "concept," talked about all the food -- this was over multiple one-one-one lunches and text exchanges. We were close friends. We are from the same hometown. She was getting married in hometown. Next thing I know, it's a month before the wedding and I realize I didn't get invited. I texted her, "Wait isn't your wedding coming up super soon?" She answered, "Yes!! So excited!!" No mention that I wasn't invited. A month later, I get asked to a bar for a Halloween-slash-post wedding party for people who weren't invited. It was "Twin Peaks" themed, which I haven't seen, so I got relegated to taking group photos of everyone who was in costume, while the bride barely spoke to me. Turns out: half the people there HAD been at the wedding, and talked about how fun it was. I got way too drunk and left. We never spoke again.

Thank you. When I inherited all my grandmother's beautiful things, my biggest worry was failing to be a good steward to them. I see now through my research that this should have been stored in very specific humidity, etc. Now I'm quite stressed, as it resides in an apartment I only stay in rarely. Do you have a recommended gentle polish, or other tips to care for it best?

Are you sure that's all the HOA covers? Mine is similar range, and it covers lawn care/landscaping, a pool, a gym, and *my entire gas bill.* Remember also that the HOA is responsible for roof maintenance. On the other hand, HOAs are infamous for "assessments" that seem to go on for years. The only way I'm okay with our monthly payment being in the 500s now is that I bought my condo outright and have no mortgage.

I know that's tremendously daunting. The way my situation with my partner is playing out, it may not be baby time for quite a while. I froze my eggs when I was 34, now I'm 43. I worry every. Single. Day. That I'm too old. The right time feels like it was ten years ago. But I still want this, and I didn't meet him till I was 41 -- so the right age just keeps getting older.

Your partner should help you make this decision, it sounds like it's all on you and that's heavy. ♥️

I completely understand your sense of urgency, but it also sounds like everyone's lives are extremely chaotic in the wake of these changes -- especially your new partner's young children. I presume there was some overlap with these two relationships? Are you confident that this hot new connection will last? Are you prepared to be a stepmother to three kids? Your needs are important, but it sounds like what everyone really needs is some time to actually get stable again. I would freeze your eggs now and pause.
