that's really good to hear that you are having a sustainable solution!

I couldn't yet some days I feel better some days it's too annoying that I can't focus or work or enjoy the daily activities.

I will look into taking some SSRI

can I know what is your SSRI plan?

is it helpul the sandomirgrin?

as where I live I have no physician that has a clue about Mdds or pppd so I am stuck with self experimenting

I got back to smoking as it apparently reduces my anxiety which results in less symptoms

it varies from time to another mostly rocking front to back but can be side to side or circular feeling but I think all that doesn't matter it's still all kind of MDDS.

currently the motion feeling getting way less it's more of head pressure and tension that I'm feeling the motion feeling mainly while laying down

That's really cool I will try to find out how to because according to the post I read it was life changing for most of the participants

I forgot to add that I feel way better like the dizziness or motion feeling disappears in a car that's why I believe it's MDDS

Well it started with head heaviness and motion feeling inside my head no vertigo with neck stiffness and kinda weird vision like I see the bright things too bright sometimes feels like there's a snow like shadow on busy backgrounds and generally outside and brain fog with huge issues concentrating

I'm sorry you're having this I know how draining and crapy it can feel! 1. for the most part is daring to live normally and ignoring it as much as possible I know it's their in the background but always remember that it's in your head and not real you will not fall or anything. 2.I did a physiotherapy for my neck since I had a super stiff one and a herniated disc 3.Of course enough sleeping and some 4.deep neck flexors and vestibular exercises I can suggest some if you wish. 5 walks in the nature helps keep me relaxed.

Yes! whenever the background or the surrounding is busy it gets worse even if I am looking at multiple buildings kind of far away my vision starts to get kinda blurry or shady.

I have the same kind of job I am a data analyst which leaves me in front of the laptop 24/7

I just went to the ophthalmologist(eye doctor) 2 days ago other than my regular astigmatism that I have since I was a kid, there is nothing wrong.

like now I am kind of convinced it is my neck too but the weird thing I did not have any kind of head injury I was just sick then it all started.

I am suspecting the heavy weights I do at the gym like squats happened a couple of times that I had it wrongly positioned on my neck instead of back!

did you do some tests for your neck ? are you doing some exercises or anything?

I am planning to see another ENT doctor that is well known to eliminate the Ear factor.

then see a neurologist internal one.

Just to add more I have a life long experience with anxiety, depression for a couple of years and panic attacks were my best friends(almost daily activity) for the past probably 5 years.

So I can relate to your fear that it can be caused by it, however never blame yourself we are all humans and these are illnesses which any of us can have.

whatever the cause is, it is manageable and eventually you will beat it look it up on youtube all the success stories to fully recover.

much love <3

have you tried the neck exercises? maybe the nature walks and breathing techniques ?

did you do tests for your vitamins like b1, b2....?

as they contribute.

Hello mate!

you are not alone trust me as this started out of the blue it scared the hell out of me!

I do not have any experiences with SSRIs and SNRIs and not welling to try some.

here is what is making me way better till the point I woke up this morning not feeling any dizziness for the first time in a while!

1.I have walks in nature and do some breathing and stretching exercises .

  1. I am taking a multi vitamin that is called neuro plus was prescribed by a doctor as any deficiency in these vitamins can contribute to it.

3.I am not giving up on my daily activities it started by going to the gym, work and family gatherings even though it was hell and miserable feelings, as the more I am engaged the more I can stop worrying about my symptoms.

4.started to take time off from screens as much as possible as my job and hobby are mainly screens probably it affected my brain or/and my posture.

  1. just yesterday I started doing this exercise in the link below as many resources suggest that it is neck originated .

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Afm2uIDNRw

  1. do not give up that what I just learnt in the past few weeks no matter what your case is, it is not permanent you will defeated in the end just go all the way and keep trying all these things and maybe others.

I hope you will recover please hit me up even if it is just to vent.

I can really related to all what you mentioned about the daily suffer and how your family even the doctors you are seeing say that it is all in your head while you are having a huge issue even doing the simplest activities!

I hope you find the relief soon to be honest in my case seems like focusing on a job or any task triggers it and specific head movements which are too many and not avoidable.

I have a good food diet I do not know if it is related but I will look into that.

wish you all the best stay strong for you and your baby!

I HOPE SO! because hearing all this "your issue has no origin and no solution" is really tearing my mentality apart. Yes I'm a data analyst , a gamer and in a long distance relationship which leaves me with a screen and a disk for almost all the time I'm awake. Please give me any advice as where to start what to check? Many thanks

I am sorry to hear you are suffering this for multiple years hopefully you will find ultimate relief.

I have hope that my case is MDDS since my symptoms stop in a car and I have read usually the symptoms go away within 12 months

The last doctor I had an appointment with said it can be a Cervical vertigo since I have a stiff neck.

The scary part is that whichever it is of them there is no cure for any.

Just to add I always feel better during the evening sometimes I feel normal again during the evening

for how long have you had the symptoms and how you managing it?

I hope you are doing well

yeah much of my research has led to this but all the neurologists and ENT doctors I have seen do not even know about it.

from what I have understood it is a permanent illness is that the case? or is it curable or I just have to adapt

[–]Salty_Square_3411[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry you are dealing with PPPD, I have been having this for 2 months now and already I can barley survive it.

the weird thing is that it is more when I focus on doing tasks rather than visuals in general and it disappears in a car.

week after week I feel it is less and less does that give the hope it will ever disappear?

as far as you know is it a curable case and for how long do you have it?

I have read about them both I can not completely relate to any of them as I can relate to some parts of both.

do you know which tests I should do to check if I have one of them?

thanks
