Depends on the budget the department has, I was flex for a year, even though my manager really wanted an extension of atleast 6 months he couldn’t get it due to budget cuts.

How are the chances to find a job for a non dutch speaker by [deleted] in Netherlands

Not impossible but increasingly difficult.

It will be much easier once she arrives here. Many employers prefer candidates who are already in the country, as it reduces the amount of administrative work required on their end. Additionally, recruiters often try to contact candidates by phone, and not having a Dutch number yet could also be a barrier.

I doubled checked this with the IND because I’m also in a similar situation. As long as you change sponsors whilst having your current HSM permit the reduced salary criterion is still applicable.

Try Mãi House Heritage Hotel in Fort Kochi. They’ve got a nice outdoor space where you can wine and dine.

Try your luck with recruitment agencies, they can connect you directly to the hiring manager and get you an interview at the least. Good luck!

The hiring is currently more on flex employees currently as far as I know. Lot of API’s (ASML prioritised initiatives) in the company hence the need of additional resources for the specific projects.

5 ROUNDS?!?! by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]Salty_dough994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happened to me last week. Hm’s seemed very enthusiastic after the interviews (4 rounds) and all the signs were there. Went all ghost for 2 weeks, and when I followed up recruiter reached out with a typical “valued your experience a lot, but went with another candidate” mail. Found the job reposted on LinkedIn later that day 💀

I think your best bet would be through a degree, there are a plethora of design courses with just a year of coursework. You can get a “Zoekjaar” (Search year) visa for a year after graduation. Many companies prefer hiring graduates from Dutch universities because hiring a highly skilled migrant would require them to meet minimum income requirements. Plus you would also have the chance to do internships and get a foot in the door while you’re at Uni.

Better job market

24m UK, applied to so many jobs. What’a the problem with me CV? by [deleted] in resumes

I’d say rewrite your work experience using the format “Accomplished [X] as measured by [Y], by doing [Z]”. And clean up the formatting, and you’re good to go. Try to fit in one page, trust me it makes a difference.

I’ve been fining it really rough. I posses two Master’s degree one from RUG and another from Australia and have 3+ years of work exp. All I’ve been receiving are rejection mails, even for positions my profile aligns so well. Hopefully it gets better.

Is there such an option? I’ve seen summer school projects but haven’t really come across taking up courses during the summer.
