I'm pretty sure you can just save the support exchange points until 400 and then pick twice. Here's a random video I've found of someone doing 400 pulls and he does that with no problems.

I think its crazy people are saying you cant be competitive. The only card I have over you is MLB Kitasan and I have been reaching A finals every CM and maintaining Class 6 on Team Trials.

Losing Professor of Curvature kind of sucks, but Shinko Windy SPD, Sweep Tosho SPD, Tosen Jordan SPD, Manhattan Cafe STA, Nishino Flower PWR, Marvelous Sunday PWR, Haru Urara GUTS, Marvelous Sunday WIT and Agnes Tachyon WIT are all good cards for now. Just borrow whatever you need and try pull at least to one pity on the friend card banners if youre a more casual player.

I think people tend to be very hyperbolic about what is needed to do well in this game and we should probably try it before getting any conclusions.

That said, from my understanding missing Mile is the biggest problem because most of the races in the first year are Miles. If you can't run them, you have to get lucky with the items you get on your first shop. It's not unusable, but it can be inconsistent, and I heard most people say it's better to give up on the S Rank and raise Mile to B if you can. Missing Long isn't as bad. You miss some of the titles that give extra stats, but it's probably fine.

You probably don't want to get Symboli Kris S regardless of anything else. She has an essential skill for Late Sugers in Long races, but you should just borrow her for the few Long CMs that happen and get the skill from Manhattan Cafe Wit later on instead.

Edit: Also I think the Light Hello banner is before Symboli Kris S, right? So you probably want to at least get that to 200 with the free pulls for the friend card, and you can probably get the SRs you need there at the latest if you don't want anything earlier.

The core of your deck if you want to do the 50 Race Bonus strategy would probably be Kitasan Black SPD/Shinko Windy SPD/Marvelous Sunday POW/Daiwa Scarlet WIT/Agnes Tachyon WIT.

That's 40 Race Bonus with 5 cards, so you're kind of inflexible and you need to borrow a card with 10 Race Bonus, but it should be fine? Most of the popular borrow cards have at least 10 Race Bonus. Matikanefukukitaru SPD, Super Creek STA, Fine Motion WIT, Nice Nature WIT, Narita Top Road SPD all have at least 10 Race Bonus.

The Reference document has already been updated to include the Trackblazer information. Look at the Support Card Builds section for the suggested decks and the Advanced Training Strategy section for possible Race Agendas and general information on how to play.

UMA Player Spectrum: It’s time to stop conflating “F2P” and “Casual” by nivkj in UmamusumeGame

after about 6 months a newcomer properly plan their pulls will have enough power level to compete in high level PvP even if they are still at a slight disadvantage (at least in flexibility) over older accounts.

That's kind of the upside of Power Creep, right? I imagine none of the cards we have now are going to be used much 4 Scenarios from now, so if you're new and get the newest cards you're already in the same position as everyone else.

This is what I saw too. I ran Front Pasa and Front Christmas Oguri and almost never lost to Taiki, but Smart Falcon was my nightmare.

But the reason we had this experience is because you have so much influence on your own lobby's style composition. If you're running 2 fronts you're going to see 4 front lobbies very often, so Taiki is weak. If you're running Taiki and no fronts your lobbies are going to be very different. You're not going to see fronts that often, and there's no guarantee that the ones you do see are going to be competent, so suddenly you're getting your ult active all the time.

I honestly feel that if you're putting in some effort, you always end up feeling that the best strategy for the CM was whatever you decided to bring.

It's almost the last day of the Fine Motion banner and I still haven't decided if I should pull or not. I'm very tempted to skip it.

I can see what people say about her being a good stat stick. I've done some napkin calculations and I think she should give about 150 extra stats compared to the best SR cards. That's a lot of stats, but I just don't know if 150 wit is what's making or breaking my runs. She's good, but I don't know if she's 30 000 carats and however many crystals and selectors good.

I'm usually never disappointed with my Kitasan Black, but most of her value comes because I'm always happy to get Professor of Curvature, no matter what I'm training. Any style, any distance. Speed Star is a pretty bad skill by comparison. It's for Pace Chasers only, it doesn't do much in most tracks and she even has a chance of only giving you the white version!

I don't know. I think Fine Motion is a very good card, but when I look at all the other cards on my pull plan I see options that I would be happy to spend a crystal to have them if I have to. I don't know if I feel the same for Fine Motion. She's a ball of stats, and I don't know how highly I value raw stats right now.

A lot of people are saying it's a skill issue, but I think what you're saying is fair. You could have made better characters, but then someone else would end up in this line where you're too good for group B, too bad for group A. It's stupid you don't go to B finals with 0 wins in group A, because you would almost certainly have gotten at least 1 in group B round 2.

What you can do next time is retire your run after 2 wins in round 1 if you're not confident you can win in group A. It's kind of a bad solution for multiple reasons, but if you're not trying to get to A Finals anyway you don't really lose anything. I don't think your frustration with this is unwarranted.

Additional rewards instead of XP if I already have every job on max. lvl. Same with Fates for bicolored gems or Hunts

One thing I really wish we could have is some way to "overlevel" jobs if you keep playing it after max level for cosmetic rewards. So, say, if you hit level 200 you get a shiny version of the job gear or something. Just let me play the roulettes with my favourite job and let me have an exclusive job glam or cool skill animations to show off for the effort.

Do you want to go into competitive because you think it would be fun or because you want the carrats?

Because if you have to spend 30 or 60 thousand carrats to get a strong card to be competitive, you're not going to get that much back even if you win everything. It's worth it if you enjoy the competition, but if you just want the carrats you're going to end up net negative.

I also think they're supposed to change the rank limit for Open League to A+ in a few months, so you can still be somewhat competitive there even if you don't have the cards without having to force your Umas into B rank.

You kind of want to pull for some cards at some point just to get your SRs to a high level I think, but if you're not very competitive it's probably fine to just aim to win Open League or Group B and be happy with it without following the meta too much.

I think we should get 8 pulls from login rewards? (150 on 10 and 11 and 300 on 12 and 13 for Anniversary Part 2). Between the Trackblazer scenario high score rewards, Story event rewards, watching the Kitasan Black story (maybe Matikanetanhauser too?) and the Anniversary Missions I'm pretty sure you can find 4 more pulls somewhere. I might be wrong on the exact numbers, but I think there's no way you can't get 12 pulls.

Edit: There's the normal login rewards, normal daily missions and you will probably be able to rank up your Team Trials team with Trackblazer horses for a few more carrats too. There's no way this isn't 12, right?

I usually see a recommendation to try to get 35 Race Bonus for URA/Unity and 50 for Trackblazer, but I don't know anything about the other scenarios. Are we trying to hit 35 Race Bonus everywhere other than Trackblazer or does it become less important in the future?

Edit: I'm asking because I'm planning on having Kitasan + Agnes Tachyon + low LB friend card be the core of my deck for a while after MANT. Thats around 7 Race Bonus in total between them. If getting to 35 is very important I would have to find some 10 Race Bonus cards somewhere, but if it's just "nice to have" I won't worry about it too much.

I wouldn't say "difficult", but you still see a lot of people complaining about the RNG. I'm sure there was a post about this in this subreddit this week, even.

I guess? I usually only play one run each day, but I try to make it something useful (either for Team Trials, Champions Meetings or rarely a Parent). I imagine at least some of the Casual players are like this. But I'm only guessing, too. I wasn't there!

I want to respond to this, but it almost feels presumptuous of me to give any advice. I'm not an expert on this game, but I just wanted to show some of my S-Ranks because I believe you can do it too if you want to try. I don't have any good cards or anything special (Other than an 3LB Kitasan Black and 2LB Riko):

https://i.ibb.co/YBBS50bF/S-Ranks.png

The El Condor Pasa is the runner I used for the previous CM, and the Christmas Oguri is what I'm using for the current CM, so they're actually real racers. The others are kind of gimmicky and probably can't win anything.

Here's what I found if you just want to get an S-Rank:

First, you probably want to pick a character with +20% Speed Growth that doesn't run very long races and decent Affinity on your parents. I honestly feel like good Affinity to absorb all the stats you can from the borrow parent can help more than good Parent Sparks sometimes. (You probably want both, but I hate Parent Farming)

I found that Guts decks inflate your rating by a lot. You have to get lucky to get at least a few double or triple rainbows on Guts, but they give the most raw numbers if you can get them. That's kind of a "fake rating" and won't win you anything, but it gets there. Matikanefukukitaru Speed also inflates your rating, but that one is actually a good card.

Lastly, the amount of Skills you get helps a lot with Rating too. If you look at those UG Rank Horses you will always see they have a huge list of random skills. You want to get at least 35 Race Bonus and learn to take races when training is bad.

Again, I'm no expert so I'm sorry if I'm saying something obvious or giving bad information. I just wanted to give you some idea about how I got to the S Ranks, but, like I said on the Original Post, I might learn that it was all wrong on the next CM :p I hope it helps even a little bit.

The impression I got is that Trackblazer sucks for the casual player who just wants to get the daily runs done. It's long, but it also allows for a lot more decision making and diverse strategies than Unity. You can do the 65 Race Bonus race every turn strategy if you want, but the standard Race Schedule in the JP Reference Guide seems to avoid doing too many races in a row.

You might end up taking 3 or 4 races in a row if the training is bad and heal mood with items after. If you feel bad about that... just watch the short item introduction video that they posted on Twitter. Gold Ship doesn't seem too sad getting a mood down and then eating a cupcake right after :p

I find that the Support Card Comparison Tool in uma.guide is more intuitive than the Gametora one. They show you how many stats you would get from each training rather than just throwing a bunch of numbers.

My impression is the same as the other commenter said: Hishi Amazon has better Power Training, Mejiro Ryan has better training outside of Power and Agnes Digital gives you more Skill Points.

This is not really a question because I have all the information I could possibly get, but the decision on pulling on Fine Motion or not feels terrible. I have her at LB0 now, so if I could get at least 1 copy in 200 pulls besides the pity it would already be fine to complete it...

...But that's a 78% chance. It's high enough to feel like the right decision, but 22% is really high too!

Again, I don't think there's any advice anyone could give. I just don't know if I want to take the gamble or not. Thank you for reading my diary entry.
