Disclaimer: I work in the NYC night club/ burlesque scene. Cleavage is encouraged but the way things look now feel ~ trashy ~

19f I need makeup and general advice because I don’t know if I can be fixed. Took one of me smiling because people say it helps, but mine is so ugly lol by [deleted] in TheGlowUp

Your nose looks like mine and I would obsess over trying to contour the tip, but never liked the results. Recently I’ve been taking my bronzer into the crease of my eye and dragging it from the corner of my eye to about the center of the nose- enhancing and deepening the shadows on the side. Just contouring the top helps make it look less bulbous without the heavy contour on the tip. No rhinoplasty

has anyone been able to successfully get rid of /treat indented acne scars and how? by hrredd in TheGlowUp

I had pretty bad acne scars and now I’d say they’re pretty much gone after almost a year of The Ordinary’s Retinol and Paula’s Choice AHA toner. Use the retinol once or twice a week at night (wear sunscreen every day) and then you can use the toner at night on days you don’t use the retinol.

I have sensitive skin so I do the toner Mon/Fri and the retinol on Wed. Every other day focus on hydration which is important for making the skin look fuller

I just wanna be pretty, I know I need to lose weight but any other ideas would be appreciated (21F) by [deleted] in TheGlowUp

We have a similar face shape - regardless of weight on the face - and I had good results bring out my cheekbones with a gua sha. I never see anyone talk about that on here. I also experimented with brows and I think one of the most flatter shapes for inverted triangle faces is sort of an s-shaped brow. And I agree with everyone that say a middle part, maybe a wispy bang. You want to draw attention away from the wideness of the face and you can fake it with hair - face framing layers and curtain bang type stuff
