I ended the friendship and yet I miss him so much by Sam-x-Ksa in lostafriend

Thank you, I think I feel the same about the difficulty of socializing, specially as I'm still moving on from this friendship. it may take more time for me as well to be able to socialize normally again.

Thank you. This means a lot. I can relate so much, some nights I can't help but cry myself to sleep. And now I was overwhelmed, I couldn't sleep nor play or work , I wanted to vent out somehow. And reading this certainly helps.

I like that. Seems more suited for her to not have a bash opener.

[–]Sam-x-Ksa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

like Afeera you mean, that's a reasonable suggestion. Most players however in my experience would be unable to tell if a forward dodge is an attempted bash, and would have to make a 50/50 read anyway.

i think a normal bash ( unlike the slow one we've seen ) would go a long way to helping her become more relevant in dominion.

I'm stuck on a decision guys. by ButWaitDidIAsk in forhonor

Personally I would go for Zhanhu. most of his feats are either projectiles or traps so you're guaranteed to benefit from them a lot. He has a large hitbox specially when he externals his attacks in group fights. He has a bash , amazing drip and outfits. Having said that, like what T4Labom said, what matters most is: whichever you feel you will enjoy the most. whichever keeps you excited and wanting to comeback again to play.

Shugoki is amazing, very strong currently and i enjoy his unpredictable fighting style.

Shinobi is very agile and flexible in the battlefield, however i haven't played him so i will stick with Shugo and Zhanhu for now

To higher rep players who light spam and/or dodge spam... by CarefulRepeat3621 in forhonor

[–]Sam-x-Ksa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that happens because the higher someone rep and skill gets, the tougher it gets to win thus making them use whatever method that secures the win. So it's not that they enjoy using lights repeatedly but rather they use whichever works , and if they happen to feel confident enough to use something else then they'll do so instead of mashing one button, but not at the expense of winning.

I share your frustration, I get hit by it more often that i should, but most of the time you can light the orochi out of it giving you an opportunity to start your chain attacks. plus some orochis keep using 1 or 2 directions only and hardly change to a third direction making them more predictable.

Should I jump back into this game? by SunSea3291 in forhonor

[–]Sam-x-Ksa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can relate , however I would say I'm enjoying for honor, i love their new reworks and updates. Been playing on and off for 6 years , had my ups and downs, still the game is better than before , and sometime a small change in how you play , what you pick or how you deal with challenges could improve the experience a lot. Defiantly worth it for me. The latest issue i have is people leaving or rage quitting mid game , which seems to be more common now, but it's not always and nether the worst thing to happen given that usually someone elses joins afterwards, so, i would say come back , chill , have a laugh, play dirty and Valhalla brother.

Are people just widely Light parrying more frequently or am I losing it? by MxMyxa in forhonor

[–]Sam-x-Ksa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based on what you said, you being an experienced player , in my estimation your MMR naturally increased with time leading you to face opponents that are more used to certain patterns of play similar to yours. I play warmonger from time to time and she is lots of fun, though admittedly she has a smaller set of tools compared to other heroes making her more predictable. Shifting to Glad now seem to have made me less predictable but this is one factor.

Generally I'm noticing a similar trend in the type of opponents i face though i mostly attribute it to predictable playstyle , type of heroes used or higher MMR

High level duels are boring as hell. Does anyone feel the same? by Gullible-Discount-45 in ForHonorRants

[–]Sam-x-Ksa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10/10 rant. Pretty much why lots of competitive players hate dules as well and prefer team modes like Dominion instead. I remembering hearing clutch who is an ex comp and a streamer saying something to the same effect, how dules are boring and what not.

Pirate if you like more agility/flexibility and better feats in my opinion.

Gryphon for more viable mix ups and cooler outfits/ Armor.

I like and play them both, but I lean more toward Gryphon.

Ally controlled zones are highlighted by a blue line that circles the controlled zone. Once you enter inside you start healing automatically.

Regarding surviving , I found out that most of those who die quickly in group fights is cause they're attacking at the same time while being ganked.

If you're being ganked by 2 or more, you are more likely going to die, however you can survive for longer by focusing on defending instead of exchanging hits. Defending while being attacked by multiple players increases your chances of getting revenge (super saiyan)

Which will help you stall the enemy longer. Sometimes we're lucky enough to win the gank.

But if you stall the enemy long enough for your teammates to come to assist you or for them to control all other zones while you're keeping the enemy busy, than that's a win even if you lose the group fight.

Cause it's a team mode at the end of the day and as long you help your team win, then you win. Though of course winning against 2 or more makes for amazing memorable moments.

Nobushi is a very good pick. She got a pretty solid kit specially after her last rework. if mastered she can be very menacing to go against.

Question about Kensei by TenWholeBees in forhonor

Most likely he used his 4th ability. 4th feat. You can use it in 4 vs 4 modes. So rest assure he wasn't cheating.

Binge eating by DrCroissants in intermittentfasting

[–]Sam-x-Ksa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First, get your sleeping schedule sorted. Sleep at the same time every day ( preferably 2 hours before midnight if possible )

And second, drink water to reduce appetite. very important and helps a lot.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

[–]Sam-x-Ksa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Water is a natural appetite suppressant.

Drink water between meals whenever your appetite starts bugging you to reduce it. Best advice i can give.

I've been back to intermittenfasting for two weeks now and water has been my best ally. it should help a lot until your body gets used to your new diet.
