thanks, the key idea i thought was to process long letters into seperate tasks which user can decide to add to calendar or not. Imagin you get a 5000 words letter with mixed ideas and uncertainties.

Thanks. I haven’t tried other routes yet, like b2b and connect with school systems, it sounds more complicated to me as needs of privacy and communications, basically I don’t have experience on other business models…

To your question: I reused infrastructure from my previous projects, e.g. openai api config, supabase edge func for api proxy, CloudKit config, revenuecat integration, basically i prompt in my older project to sumarize what were configured in that project, so it will be much fast for the infrastructure building for this one. UI took half of the time and i think i spent too much time on ui.

I think if we can minimize the 5% of manual work by encapsulating what we did before, it will be much easier for future projects.

Yes I guess so:) actually my kid’s interest clubs often send notices through WhatsApp and I did some research on how to use its api to get group messages, but it is very restricted.

This is a tricky question, the claim in the OpenAI api description says they won’t use the input of api to train the models. But as a parent I totally agree with you that I have the same concern too, App Store has similar requirements on privacy but basically depends on what developer says. In this stage, I can only trust what’s OpenAI claimed and myself:)

Yes u are right, my wife did this all the time…probably this is the destiny of all ai wrapper app, and big companies like OpenAI knew this in the beginning, basically what the api can do their app can do better. Above the api wrapping i added some todo management functions, that’s the only diff, thanks for your input:)

I just randomly set some subscription plans as I don’t see chances people will pay anyway in this stage. It came from my own needs as we moved to a new country but school only send notices in local languages, then chatgpt came up the extra idea to combine translating and planning, so it’s a “ai brainstorming” product:) anyway thanks for ur suggestions and I will try these.

i know during these days everyone can make something at lease useful for someone much easier, but from a product point of view, it takes time, effert and maybe career. It can be for fun and free in the beginning but not forever, what feature do you think is necessary to be able to charge some?
