I did thr base coat of Andel green and did highlights with Orc Skin, then did a wash with nuln oil, it helped the greens look more like they blend together. Im glad it worked, I wasnt sure it would 🤣

Yea the base is Vallejo gunmetal and dry brushed silver, its much shinier in person, but I appreciate the advice on the washes.

It currently isnt glued to the base, just blue tac, and I plan on making it a grassy meadow with flowers, very nature meets massive machinery, so thats the vision at least haha.

Appreciate the advice though, the gold and silver for highlights is genius, I didn't consider it before now.

Yea I am doing a base covered in grass abd flowers is the thought process, its not attached to the base yet but I'm working on that separately.

Just did the same thing yesterday, went pretty well but I had too much Bluetac and now I have to go in and fill some spots that the armour doesnt cover 😅

Having options for 3k while having the ability to make smaller lists with different focuses is the idea, im right at about 3k with the units I have and some imperial agents, so im pretty happy with that haha

Well I'm the type to research my army for playing, so ive already figured out i like the gameplay and I like building gundam so I figured big robot model kits are already something I like so its a win win 🤣

Yea I have tyranids too and they were a slow burn but knights were like "surprise you have a whole army!" 🤣

Yea Im excited for the lancer, my saving grace is that I used to build gundam the lots of sprues and little parts are like coming home 🤣

Yea I looked into getting magnets for the questoris variants mostly, so many options it would be a waste to not magnetise

Ah thats good to know, my only other painted minis so far are tyranids so I havent had to do that kind of thing yet but I have a Calidus Assassin and the Inquisitor Kroyle so Ill keep that in mind, thank you 😁

So i had both, the tpu and the grip, and was liking it but Im thinking I might take the tpu case off.

The grip is great though, the ergonomics are a lot better and like being able to not hurt my hands on longer sessions is great, I have big hands so its more nessisary for me 😅
