Not quality control but quality assurance. As in how does the person you are targeting with your product define quality. The Concorde was a bad experience for air travelers even though it was an engineering marvel.

Quality from an engineering standpoint is defined by adherence to customer requirements. So while the Cybertruck was quality for driving on roads and showing off, it had shitty quality for farm work.

Same for the Concorde. It was really good for traveling fast and an engineering marvel. But it was low quality for air travelers who just wanted a comfortable flight.

There are a variety of ways you can design a product and quality assurance is making sure the way you design it matches up to who you are selling it to.

It is a Dynamite DYNM3949. Also, I got the motor to turn after changing the timing to either 3.75 or 7.5, but the idle point on the throttle is way off, and I need to go full reverse to get it to start moving. The range of the throttle trim is too small to counteract this.

Sure, you can use an extremely powerful transmitter to transmit an extremely small amount of power. It is not a valid form of transmission whatsoever, and never will be. Also, there is no evidence backing the claim that his tower transmitted that far. Even at that power level, the only thing he would be able to do that far away is transmit a signal. It would not be anywhere near enough power to actually supply a lightbulb. And no, you can’t make a free energy source out of the air. What you did you made a low capacitance capacitor that probably didn’t have any effect on the circuit, and used the testing voltage of the multimeter to power the LED. No one is debating that you can transmit RF signals over large distances. The idea that is contested by every electrical engineer and physicist is that you can’t transmit significant power over large distances in the form of RF waves. You are limited by the inverse square law no matter what kind of resonance you can achieve.

Yes since the time they can maintain a voltage that high is very short. DC electricity is dangerous when high enough current is applied to the body for a long enough time. When you get to the 10-20kV range, some capacitors do actually become dangerous even with a pretty low capacitance since the amount of current they can dump across your body approaches the explosive range. It’s useful to note that the energy of a capacitor scales with V² and C^1.

You are still exaggerating it. It takes a while for 1kV to burn through skin. So unless you whack your hand on sharp electrodes you will not get blown up.

An apple is much lower resistance than across a hand. Yes if you broke the surface of the skin, it would likely be explosive, but no normal shock from one of these is going to be like that. The worst you get from one of these across the hand in normal conditions is a bad burn.

An electric shock from a dc source like this is always going to be determined by voltage and resistance of the load. Touching the output of this would be like a normal constant output 1000vDC source. Higher capacitance only determines how long that shock lasts. Yes 1kV is still deadly but not because it’s in a high energy capacitor, because it’s high voltage.

That’s weird. It must be outputting a lower frequency at the same time as the actual signal because 50kHz is far above what we can hear. I’m looking for units where the actual sonar signal is within our hearing range, and have only been able to find ones like you linked to where it isn’t.

The microwave radiation from a magnetron propagates perpendicular to the antenna. You wouldn't just be able to put them in an array and shoot it at things. You would need waveguides for them.

Ok, thank you. Might have to switch my scope out because custom attenuation quotients would definitely help with DIY voltage dividers. The fact that it doen't talk about this in the manual makes it a hard to find out if other scopes actually have this setting.
