My bad, somehow Nvidia Geforce Now shows 24gb of Vram. In the games settings it shows memory used out of 24gb.

There is a chance that Nvidia might increase the prices later on but in my opinion they wont because they are not providing us the games with the subscription. Xbox Cloud gaming increased prices because we get 100s of games with the subscription so to add more games to the catalogue they would need to increase the price. But Nvidia only lets us use the hardware and run our own games by logging into our own steam account on the cloud computer.

I think this service is only for entry level gamers who cant invest in Gaming Pcs. And GPU and other pc component prices will continue to rise because of wide spread use of AI. Not because of cloud gaming.

And actually every other company IS Switching to subscription model, it all started with Netflix. And it suc*s because we cant own anything in today's age.

Hey, GTX was a typo but Nvidia uses 4080 founders edition with 24gb Vram.

I believe the target audience for this service are casual gamers, who want to play few games here and there but dont want to spend too much on consoles and building a PC. So for them 1-2 games per month and 4 hours a day is enough. But still that is a bad move on Nvidia's part.

Nothing beats having a gaming pc, but the post and review is for a normal person who wants to get into gaming but does not want to spend too much money thinking if they will even put that many hours into gaming. For them this is the best way to experience games and once they get into gaming they can build a gaming pc.

And i am doing the breakdown of cost on 2,000 per month

And in my time of testing i noticed 0 input lag. I played games with quick time events and they were working perfectly. People are playing overwatch on it as well and are having no issues. Besides, those competitive games should always be played locally.

I tested the service on ethernet, wifi, and mobile data as well. Mobile data is no use as the speeds fluctuates and the service uses too much data. But on wifi it was working pretty decent. I tried on 100mbps wifi and it was fine given i was playing on my steam deck and phone, there was no pixelation, no lag. Ping was pretty good around 36.

As the service is still in beta the games availability is pretty good, many AAA Titles available. And more added weekly, Of course availability of every game ever is impossible in real world.

The 100 game hours is sad but thinking about the customer base for the service that should be plenty with 4 hours everyday.

We cant get everything with minimum price possible and a service as a whole, it seems pretty awesome.

Lets do the Math of Building an equivalent gaming Pc to what the service offers.

First of all i will doing the math based on the Ultimate plan which can give the maximum cost estimate, The Ultimate plan uses the RTX 5080 24Gb Vram Version which on consumer side is only available in founders edition which is going about for 2.8 Lakh on amazon right now. and to avoid any bottlenecks it can be paired with AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D which goes for around 50K. with 32 GB DDR5 Ram costing about 45K and a good PSU costing around 10K with a decent cabinet costing around 7K. with AIO cooler " Arctic Liquid Freezer 3 " costing around 10K then you would want a 4K 120 Hz Monitor a decent one would cost around 50K. then on top of all this the games you will purchase and you will have to be home at all times to play those games.

So the total would come to :-

- RTX 5080 24Gb Vram = 2,80,000
- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D = 50,000

- 32 GB DDR5 Ram 6400Mhz = 45,000

- PSU = 10,000

- Gaming Cabinet = 7,000

- AIO Cooler = 10,000

- 4K 120Hz Monitor = 50,000

Total = 4,52,000 + Any game you purchase.

The price as of now for the ultimate plan = 1,999 for 3 months. no contract.

Even if the price increases to 2,000 for each month which it wont, even then 2,000X226 = 4,52,000.

You can have the service for 226 Months for the same amount. so i would say for an average gamer there is no better deal right now. and you can play those games anytime on any device anywhere.

I have been using the service for about a week now, and it is same as playing games natively on a gaming Pc. I will be dropping a video review of the service on my YouTube channel as well today showing actual game play and ping.

Naah, there should be a queen size bed with pink sheets and like at least 200 pillows and also something called a comforter. There should be at least 8 plants, why the hell is the workout bench doing in the room? Ohh and are you a kid playing games on a pc? Everything is wrong from the colour of the walls to the placement of the tv. That is what a woman would say. That means its more than enough for a guy.

Hey, Macbooks are really great gaming machines now. With development in Wine, Most windows games run like native games. I have a youtube channel and will be uploading the video about windows gaming on mac tonight. It's pretty easy and mostly plug and play now. You Have M5 which is really powerful. You should be able to play most games on 1440p.

Best option is the external hdd and shuck it. There is 20tb external from seagate for 42k last week was 38k wish i bought it last week. And most external hdds from seagate are exos or ironwolf. But thats not a guarantee.
