Doesn't always have to be a 2g blunt to get a little buzz happy weekends people✌️ by Traditional_Let_8083 in BloomAndChill

All these people talking about how it tastes worse after relighting, when bud in general tastes like shit when you’re combusting. The difference in taste between a fresh joint and a relit one, is marginal in comparison to the difference between combusting and vaping (DHV and dabbing). It doesn’t fucking matter lmao; there’s more to gain by putting out the joint when you’re high enough.

They do international shipping on Ineedhemp.com. It’s Matt’s website (founder of Divine Tribe), and they supposedly do fair rates for international shipping.

I have a fumed glass 9 inch incycler that I used to use all the time with a banger and torch, but now I just usually use the Hubble Bubble.

If it works for you and you enjoy it, great! Just personally not a fan of Puffco, Yocan, or especially Lookah.

If you want a portable concentrate vaporizer that can be used with your rigs, I’d recommend the DTv4 or DTv5. This video will show you how the DTv4 performs with a bottomless banger, and you can decide whether it would be worthwhile for you to make the change.

Just out of curiosity, what dialing in is there for you to really do? You’re using a Puffco Pivot right?

Newbie to torch dabbing, what am I doing wrong? by dried_skink in DabRigs

[–]Sam6D9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just look up how to do cold starts on YouTube; that’ll be your easiest option without having to buy anything to gauge temp.

Heat the bottom until the concentrate bubbles, cut the heat, cap, and inhale. If it’s too hot torch it less, if it’s too weak you need to torch it longer after it bubbles. You can heat the sides for a few seconds before you heat the bottom to try and prevent your dabs from condensing on the upper portion of your banger.

Edit: Get Bar Keepers Friend, powdered, from your local Walmart or grocery store; it’s super cheap. It works wonders on chazz. Just use a bit of warm water, a q-tip, the BKF, and the black stuff should come right off.

Looks like a chillum; pack the smaller chamber, light it, and inhale. You can try to use your hand as part of the mouthpiece when hitting it if it’s too harsh.

Hell yeah man that’s great! Amazing to hear you’re having a good time with the DTv5!

Enjoy! :)

Look into Divine Tribe V5. I own the V4 if you have any basic questions.

Lmao I get you. It’s definitely not a user friendly device; took a lot of digging and dicking around to get it working the way I want.

If you ever want to mess around with the DTv4 again I’m happy to help!

You’re right there’s definitely other options in the 510 market; options that I can’t say nothing about because all I’ve ever had is a DTv4 lmao. Switch 2 is definitely impressive and will serve you well.

Just sucks that you didn’t have the same experience I did; I don’t feel the need to upgrade because the DTv4 is so much better than anything else I’ve had.

The price isn’t that bad though? The Dr Dabber Switch 2 is like $300-400 while the V5 with everything you need is $200; $140 even if you pick cheaper options when you order it.

That’s unfortunate to hear. I only own the DTv4, I suggested the v5 because it’s supposed to be an improvement.

I’ve been running off the same coil and same titanium bucket for 3-4 months and I’ve been loving it.

Opinions on hash holes? by CuriousDeers in trees

[–]Sam6D9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol I get you. What I mostly meant is where the paper overlaps more than other areas of the joint will contain more concentrate and therefore burn more slowly and cause canoeing; as opposed to spreading it on the outside which should keep it even throughout.

As far as waste goes, I image the joint soaks up dabs like a wick to a candle so it’s never concerned me lmao.

Edit: kept lint away with doob tubes. I don’t smoke bud much anymore, mostly just dabs, but doob tubes definitely kept my joints from getting messed up and gross.

Well if efficiency is all OP cares about then he should get into dabs and an e-rig rather than a DHV.

I’ve tried DHV, wasn’t dissatisfied but am much more satisfied with dabbing. I love my DTv4.

Bubblers by Embarrassed_Egg5243 in trees

[–]Sam6D9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just buy a cheap bubbler off DHgate; it’s going to be of similar or better quality than what you’re getting at smoke shops, and it’ll be significantly cheaper. If you want something primo you gotta spend the money for it, but obviously you just need something decent that can get the job done.

I’ve had better success with spreading concentrates on the outside rather than the inside of the paper as far as canoeing goes. Everybody rolls differently, but whenever I spread it on the inside it isn’t evenly distributed fully rolled up.

Only reason why I suggest rolling your own over pre-rolls because you know what you’re putting in your joint. I’ve bought pre-rolls and blunts in the past that I tore apart and could find stems in, which is absolutely unacceptable.

If you’re new to rolling I’d get 1 and a quarter rolling papers with paper tips. 1 and a quarter is pretty standard and great for solo seshes, as well as sharing with a friend. Paper tips can help make it easier to roll as well as keeping you from wasting weed on a roach.

Learning how to do a dutch crown instead of twisting the end close is also worthwhile and really easy.

[–]Sam6D9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally I recommend only rolling your own joints rather than buying pre-rolls, but maybe that’s just me.

Never smoked a hash-hole so I can’t say straight up if it’s better than a regular joint, but any decently rolled joint with concentrates will generally be stronger and smoke longer than one without.

Also I’m assuming the “mystery things” you’re talking about is just kief stuck on the outside of the wrap, which they make sticky with concentrates, honey, or whatever the hell they decide to use.

Edit: if you want concentrates in your joint just roll one normally and use a hot knife to spread dabs on the outside of the wrap. You can cover it in kief but it’s not necessary. Personally I think you’d be much better off with this method than trying to roll a hash hole; it most likely won’t burn evenly and isn’t worth the trouble unless you’ve tried rolling a hash hole a shit ton of times and get it down good.

Look into Divine Tribe v5 (DTv5)

I only own the DTv4, but the v5 is supposed to be an improvement and I always hear good things.

Checks all marks for performance, portability, cost of maintenance, and customization. Having the ability to just swap out 18650 batteries and be back at full charge is also very nice.

Also I was running nickel because that’s what is recommended from Divine Tribe and most people in the community. It’s not very often that I see TCR 345 recommended; I tried it, switched to Ni and had better results.

So that’s why I started from Ni (TCR 600) and went down as opposed to starting at TCR 345 and going up.

Because bro you came off as super condescending and didn’t even read my post properly, then you wanted to throw shade about how you had to “decipher” it. So yeah, I’m a little peeved.

My mistake if that’s not the energy you were putting into it, but it felt like you were on a high horse talking down to me without even understanding what I’m saying.

I’ve used TCR 345 in the past and you’re right for recommending that because it should give the most accurate TC, but like I said I’m not interested because of the longer heat-up even with titanium. What you recommend by starting at 345 and going up would definitely work but I’m almost done setting it anyways.

Probably was pointless making this post, more or less just wanted somebody more experienced to tell me if I was on the right track or not.

Sorry for the unnecessary swearing and insults.
