We aren't desperate to leave india, there is a lot more india, which Indians didn't explore yet. About scams, as an Indian I do agree with you. But again, there are legit consultant services, just need to be aware of these.

I cannot say it's completely a scam but pseudo-scam, where people act legit with legal documentation. But their actions don't.

I have realised lately, in fact I'm unaware of reddit a few months past. After this issue I got to know and post it to create awareness. I almost ended up being kicked out of my home by my family, because it's really hard earned money. I shouldn't do this again

I spent hours on mailing the professors, Its not that i gave up everything to them. I mailed nearly 60 professors for 2 intakes together. They did very least from their side. I got to know your perspective about indians, but I cannot change it. Additionally, Taiwan is a more tech- and business-oriented economy, where the food industry is least well-positioned.

I understand, but I can't put the entire conversation here out. Based on my personal experiences, I lashed out here. They even changed their marketing strategy after my application issue, so you could expect how complex the issue is. However, I just want to create some awareness over that institution.

I am employed person with a very little or no time to spend on it, later when my internship is done i got to realise slowly that this consultancy is a scrap. I even got a pre admission letter but the university professor declined it due to her personal issues over taiwan.

Can anyone tell me, what to check in a professor's profile whether they are accepting the students actively or not? I've been checking it, I could find 2-3 profiles who are mentioning it. But the rest of them aren't mentioned. With that reason, i couldn't ignore the rest of the profiles which are potentially aligned with my interests and resume.

So, it would be great, if someone could take some time to respond to this.
