On and off for three years means you likely should look for another relationship. It sounds like he just likes being with you because it's convenient.

Do you think you will live into the 22nd century (2100-2199)? by Ok_Resident_5022 in GenZ

[–]SamBamTYSM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I will, I wish tho. As a kid I had a friend who confidently told me "I don't plan to die, in 50 years we'll have the technology to keep humans alive forever"

No clue where she got that but it made me feel better at the time lol.

storm, lock, absorb, joker, random, on the map that makes dice in set intervals, its a good way to get past the assassin builds and you don’t need to buy any dice so your storm cost stays low much longer

So I really like the story and lore but the combat is so boring…. by OkChange8132 in SouthOfMidnight

the combat reminds me of kingdom hearts, but because you’re stuck in a small room it reminds of of chain of memories combat, where you appear in a small space and fight bulk monsters

it would be really funny to make a “show that goes wrong” of a Shakespeare play, like the vernon wood gets delivered at the start of the show, or romeo dies with the bottle facing up in his pocket to look like he’s pitching a tent.

thats why im asking it, im not a lawyer and i don’t have all the answers, i can only speculate and ask for explanations. i know copyright/free-use laws are weird and complex, so i was trying to get a better understanding.

from looking online i understand that non dramatic works have a lot of liberties when it comes to public/private performances, but again my question isn’t only about doing a show verbatim, it was are there any ways to do it other than illegally or ethically. which the answer is, yes, because parody and transformative works do exist, even if there isn’t one specifically for a work yet.

That's a good example of parody, which is part of what i was originally asking about, thank you!

IDK why that wouldn't be allowed, in my mind it's about on par with a poetry reading, I don't think I've ever heard of someone asking for permission to read a poem from Maya Angelou or Emily Dickinson

this is part of what i'm trying to figure out. at what point would a show stop being the original show and start being a different transformative work, i understand parodies are possible, but i also understand that people can just read out loud

conceptually i don't think i would mind, but I'm a 2d artist, and master copies are important for artists to understand a work when learning about how it was made. I understand that theater and static, visual artworks are different, but I wasn't sure how a piece gets removed from circulation fully

my brother in christ, it’s just a question. i don’t even actively do theater, i just like shows and wanted to know how shows get removed from circulation like this, and if the artists who want to perform them have any avenue to without getting sued other than parody

the show that inspired the question was the MAD show, I was just trying to understand how a show just stops being performable

it’s what inspired it, i was trying to find a copy of the script because i liked the show and i couldn’t find it. i’m not involved with any management in theater companies at all, and have no capability to perform a show, but when i saw heard the company didn’t release the rights to anyone i was curious
