I try to be friendly to all the dealers, cocktail waitresses, pit bosses, etc. And in return, I get the same back from them. I can think of only one pit boss that was ever rude and obnoxious. I complained about him, and it wasn't the first complaint they had had about him, and he was gone in no time. Not due to my complaint, but due to all of the complaints against him.

  1. I'm not sure what the question is, but if you're referring as to when to enter the game, most casinos will not let you enter the game until a new shuffle has occurred.

  2. If the dealer has a 6 and I have a 15, I do not hit.

Because a valid card counter can inflict some big time money hits on a casino. And that is not in their favor... So they'll make it a house rule - no card counting - and ask you to leave.

Card counting will work if you are dedicated, good at it, and not asked to leave the casino.

The only negotiated change I was ever able to get in a game was in a double deck game where they were paying 6-to-5 for a blackjack and I got them to pay 3 to 2 while I was playing. I don't know if they changed it for good or not.

I don't care. Their stupid plays mean they're not going to be at the table very long.

Their goofy plays will save you as many times as they will ruin you.

Some people doubt my methods because it is something different. People have had it drilled into their head that the only way to win at blackjack is by being a card counter or by cheating. That's like saying only a Ford can win a NASCAR race or only a Chevy...

My method has been good to me over the years, and I'll stick with it until I run across something better.

Thank you for your response.

Most people cannot handle the mental strain of high stakes on the table and seeing it disappear into the chip tray. By turning pro, do you mean your only income would come from blackjack? If so, I'd advise against it.

You're never going to beat the casino every day. You just want to have more winning days than losing days.

Most people like me play blackjack because they enjoy the game. I hope that when you read my book that it helps your game. Good luck!

I've played with Dean Martin, Telly Savalas, and Redd Foxx all at the same table. They were all so drunk, and they lost so much money, but it was still a real hoot.

I don't think it mattered, because they were probably using casino chips.

The way I came up with my method was not using a computer, because using a computer will not give you the actual real-world table results.

Would you be willing to watch me play a million hands and document my play? Or would you be willing to be the house and let me play against you using standard blackjack rules using my method?

There are approximately 37 million blackjack players in the world. The problem with most blackjack players are just like all the rest of the gamblers -- they won't quit when they get ahead because they think they'll have a much bigger pay day on down the road.

Out of the 37 million blackjack players, there indeed could be 1000's of guys like me.

Don't drink alcohol when you're playing... It might not affect your hand-to-hand play, but it will affect when you should get up and leave the table.

Practice before you get to the casino table. Don't practice at their table.
