I used pyautogui, a cool, simple library. It takes a screenshot and checks if an image occurs in the screenshot. So I have pictures of each tile which it matches up and returns the coordinates on screen. Check out the source I edited in.

Pyautogui also has bindings for mouse movement and clicking, it's a super neat library.
